I use to hit Cool Beans often, it was warm and friendly and the coffee was great. Then the new owners took out some the key elements that made this coffee shop a stand out. While I understand the need for more seating, the place has been taken over by tables. Leaving those that are on their own to either pick a table for four or one of the uncomfortable high tables, you can also cozy up on the couch, but still, the counter seating was a good thing. The coffee has changed and sadly not for the better. The sandwiches have made an improvement, The blueberry pie is amazing as is the Maple Walnut muffins, however I found other items dry or just plain lacking in flavor. The prices are pretty standard in coffee shops and the free Wi-Fi is a plus, though I find the people who move in their offices, taking off their shoes a bit weird. Another minus is the loss of The Scene and Free Times, what better read then the local E paper and a cup of coffee?? While Ill stop in from time to time, Im on the lookout for another coffee shop to get my Joe and tasty treats, Cool Beans has lost some of its shine and thats a sad thing.

Came for a good latte, should have just made one at home. They are using a programmable rancillo semi-automatic to brew. The shots came out way to quickly with no crema. My drink was way to hot because my milk was over steamed. A thermometer would do them some good here when steaming. 2 stars because the prices were pretty good, it is a cool place to hangout, and they also have free WiFi. I probably wouldnt get more than a standard cup of coffee here. May try back sometime next year during the farmers market season to see if they have learned how to brew espresso by then.

This is a great coffee shop I take my family too after every event that happens on beautiful medina square. if you are out on a country drive and come through medina, it is a must stop for a cup of coffee, some pastries or an incredible bowl of chili. The North Coast Gamers have events here on the 3rd Sunday of every month and have ALWAYS had a pleasurable experience . The staff is friendly as is the clientele.

we had 2 mocha slides, requested to drink in house. they came out in styrofoam cups. when i popped off the lid to look at my seemingly tasty drink, i noticed the splash of whipped cream atop a drink missing a few ounces. upon sipping the drink it was barely warm and didnt taste like the milk had been steamed, but merely heated. not the quality i would expect and especially not worth $3.65 a drink. bummer.

I loved the atmosphere and got an awesome brownie. My latte was okay, not amazing. I prefer a denser foam, there were a couple big bubbles that I would have tapped out, but considering the person making my drink was obviously being trained it came out nicely, and I might just be weird. Everyone was super friendly and it had a nice warm, relaxing atmosphere. Ill definitely come here again.

A big city vibe with a small town atmosphere Whether you need a spot to study, read the Sunday paper, hang with friends, or escape the cold northeast Ohio Winters. Cool Beans offers a vintage casual atmosphere in a historic building. Oh and the food and drink isnt bad either. Go. Highly suggest the Iced Chai to beat the summer heat.

Great food, coffee and tea. And a nice, laid back place to hang out and meet - the wifi is an unexpected pleasure. The staff is welcoming and helpful, willing to make substitutes or changes to menu items when asked. I recommend this locally owned shop to anyone and also frequent their new shop in Wadsworth. Thumbs up!!!

The owner was behind the counter working and super friendly and enthusiastic! The iced coffee is the real deal, cold brewed espresso over 48 hours! Menu options were many and everything looked fresh, even the homemade granola bars at the counter! Come check it out if youre in the area, this foodie approves!

Cool Beans is a fantastic cafe for the Medina Square. The coffee was just okay, but lets talk about the food. The food was amazing. I had their firehouse chicken wrap and it was very tasty. Dont get me started on those cookies!!! Wow were they top-notch. Keep up the good work Cool Beans.

Great coffee, cozy atmosphere, fast wi-fi, and unexpectedly delicious food. I tried the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a pretzel bun at Lauras recommendation and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches Ive had. Love this downtown Medina coffee house.

The absolute best mocha around! Very relaxing atmosphere that is great for meetings or if you need somewhere to study. They have all sorts of food from light meals like soups and salads. To heavier meals consisting of wraps and paninis.

Met a friend here & stayed for over 3 hours. No one said anything about it. Very cute cafe! The staff was friendly, and the patrons we talked to were nice.
