Had lunch there today with my son and friend. So we ordered off the lunch special. When we ordered my son wanted the broiled tilapia he wanted to substitute the mashed potatoes for a vegetable but the waitress said no substitutes she would have to charge $1.00 extra I told her my son doesnt do carbs So i told my son to order off the main menu to get the chicken piccata Description of the chicken piccata said chicken breast smothered with sauce and capers I told my son to get that When the order came it was with pasta again I told the waitress it didnt say pasta She said it comes with it My son said he doesnt want it and she walked away Very small chicken breast (2 pieces very thin) Came back and offered to take pasta off and give him a substitution of a vegetable without a charge my son said ok Came back with collard greens than she came back and asked if everything alright would you like another collard green my son said no thank you but my girlfriend said he will take another one please. She brought the other one we all ate paid the bill and i even left her a tip I showed her recipes of chicken piccata and none of them had pasta not even Martha Stewarts She apologized and I said I will never come back here to eat.

My friends, who are food critics, and I been attending to Galaxy Diner for years. We enjoy their foods and service however few months in past, we noticed that their service get worst with new waitresses. The cooking get worst. We can tell that they got new cookers. We also notice the quality of foods are different now. They serve the cheaper and not quality foods now. For example: yesterday my friend ordered french toasts and I ordered Spinach and feta cheese omelete with wheat toasts. He got french toasts with challah which were thin like flat tire (we normally get it with big thick challah. I only got toasts without omelete. Toasts looked so cheap and thin (we normally get thick and very wheat bread). We notified Roy about our breakfast. He laughed and said he could pump air in challah to make it thick. He said he will have my omelete. Ten minutes later I got my spinach omelete but there s no feta in it. I notified Roy again. Waited for other ten minutes for it. It has been happeneing few times lately. Now we are not enjoying go there anymore. Men room need to be fixed and cleaned.

Went to the Galaxy today after they recovered from their kitchen fire. The fat tattooed waitress sat me down and then proceeded to ignore me for 18 minutes . Even if it was not HER table, dont walk past me 7 times and asking others around me if everything is OK . Follow Up. I revisited the diner yesterday for a late breakfast. Everything was fine . However, when I paid and left, Marie the manager and owner chases afterwards into the parking lot to challenge me on my review. I just stated the facts. Rather than tell me she was sorry for her servers lack of attention, ( it is Maries job to train her staff) and offer me a free meal, she points out to me she " reviewed the in house video" and tells me it was only 8 minutes of being ignored. This women is nasty and you always get the feelings she talks behind your back . I support local establishments including the Galaxy , and have eaten there for the past 8 years or so. Marie might of won the battle challenging me, but has lost the war for a loyal customer. Really a shame ....

Seriously. How does anyone say anything bad about this place? The bad reviews, are yall just disgruntled former employees who got fired because you no-called, no-showed, or showed up drunk or high or something, and now youre all mad? Yall are crazy! Anyway, biscuits & gravy are some of the best Ive had, and the Greek omelet is my favorite. And the service is great too!

Went for the first time and the food was soooo delicious!! Looks like an older house converted into a diner and was a bit crowded, tables are very close to each other, but it wasnt terrible. Service was good and prices werent bad, especially for the portion they give. Seemed to draw an older crowd lol but that is ok too! Definitely returning

We go here regularly and are never disappointed. As with most diners, the menu is extensive, but has a strong Greek flavor. Its easy to get in and out with a nice meal. Weve done breakfast and dinner, but Im sure lunch would be good as well. All-you-can-eat catfish special Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Mexican favorites on Tuesdays.

We had a really great meal. The matzoh ball soup was authentic, the lamb gyro was great. My husband had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the sauce was amazing! It doesnt look like much from the outside, but the inside is nice and most importantly, the food was delicious and the service was attentive.

They have a lot of variety on their menu, including daily specials, but I love their all day breakfast! Big 8, Eggs Benedict, lots more. Prices are very reasonable, and service is always friendly without much wait. They even have a small selection of beers and a couple of house wines

Good service, cool little car show, excellent food esp the Napoleon Sat night special (huge meal, Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon stuffed w/spinach & cheese). Great prices too. Lots to choose from. Came for the car show went back for the food & car show and it was awesome then too.

We had a lasagna with a meatball with Greek salad and a gyro platter. The meatball was the worse thing I have ever put in my mouth. Sauce is terrible. The tzaski sauce tasted like ranch. Service was slow, but staff was friendly. Prices are definitely reasonable.

Have lived in the area 17 years and can walk to the diner. Wonderful family owned restaurant that never disappoints. Specials are always good, portions are HUGE and the price is excellent. Part of the neighborhood and we would be lost without our Galaxy Diner.

Great service, friendly atmosphere, and true comfort food. You can really tell that youre eating fresh, home cooking. I will definitely be returning regularly. Portions are great and prices are reasonable. Their omelettes and milkshakes are a great deal.

While I havent had the opportunity to taste all their dishes I can assure you that their 3 eggs omelettes are on point. They offer a good variety and their prices are good. Over all, I would recommend this place if you want to have a tasty breakfast.

The big 8 breakfast was unsatisfactory to say the least. The bacon was that pre cooked microwave bacon, it was very thin and crispy, the scrambled eggs were kind of runny and the pancakes were thick and dry... just stick to Waffle House/IHOP

Meatloaf tasted like it was two days old. Mash potatoes were ok but the fried okra had no taste. My wifes fried shrimp were fishy heavy breading. Maybe we sgould have chosen breakfast. Or a burger.

Good service, great food! I was quite impressed and the portions were surprisingly well worth it, especially for price. Food was brought quickly and exactly as ordered. We will definitely be back :)

Food was great. Price not bad for the portion sizes. I frequent this place and there is never an issue with the staff. They are always generally helpful and attentive to my needs while Im dinning.
