Tired of spending over 45 minutes in the drive thru. People come on their lunch break and spend it here. Writing this as once again I sit here waiting.... Here again on 4/21 been in the drive thru for 5 minutes. Now 8:17 pm and Just was able to order. What does it take to get this nonsense under control. Lets see how long to pay and leave..... 8:19 still waiting to move from speaker, just moved, 8:20, looking in the windows and not busy enough to justify this time.::8:21...8:22 still sitting, moved at 8:23... right now started at 8:12....8:24 almost there....checking out at 8:25. One mile to home, cold food and a half order of fries.... going to now spend my money elsewhere.... over the nonsense.

Tried Kewpee hamburgers for the first time today. 08/3/2017. Drive from New Madison, Ohio to Lima. It was a complete waste of time. I had heard that "Kewpee Hamburgers" are so good. Had the cheeeburger, fry and supposedly chocolate MALT, NOT. THE ONLY THING ANY GOOD WAS THE FRIES. THE SO CALLED MALT WAS TASTELESS, no choco flavor and no MALT flavor. It was more like a Wendys frosty. But Wendys taste better! Nothing special at this place. Not worth your time! "KS in Troy, Crabills in Urbana and Maid Rite in Greenville are the best. Now that is REAL HAMBURGER! Hell even a McDonalds (which I hate) tastes better.

Its a family experience, for sure. My family all grew up around the Lima/Elida area and now Kewpee is a requirement when all the travelers come home. The food is fantastic...best pecan pie next to Grandmas! The value cannot be beat and you feel like youve actually eaten meat instead of fillers, hormones, and other crap that is in every other burger. The atmosphere is simple, but like I said, its such a great family experience that the atmosphere doesnt matter.

This place is a family friendly place and the food is some of the best in town! This place is a little part of our community history. However because it soOo good; it is always really busy, crowded and sometimes the ladies tht are working the drive thru are hard of hearing. BUT they are very patient, cooperative and friendly and, it is some fast service with the lines they deal with!

Kewpee Hamburgers is the local equivalent of In and Out Burger on the West Coast. The menu is limited but the burgers are freshly ground on site and cannot be beat for quality. A dozen kinds of pie. And every worker at this location was an adult. If you come during a lunch or supper time prepare to stand in line because it will be a busy place.

This is the quintessential fast food burger! The buns are baked fresh daily at the local Nickles Bakery. The fresh hamburgers are grilled on a flat top with as many condiments as you wish! The french fries are thick and so are the chocolate malts. Add a piece of pie or a side of chili and you have found hamburger heaven!

The burgers are fresh, the staff is prompt and helpful. I took my nephew here (he goes to UNOH, but had never been to Kewpees). Lots of feed, good prices. A nice selection of pies. Pepsi, not Coke. Its a local thing. Stop here, then go to the squirty worm for ice cream. Youve pretty much captured the "Lima experience".

Kewpee has the BEST cheeseburger you will ever taste! Plus they are the original Wendys. Dave Thomas actually got his ideas for his restaurant from eating at a Kewpee! You wont find a better chocolate malt and I highly recommend dipping your fries into the malt for the amazing combo of salty and sweet!

Tried the hamburger, chillis and pumpkin pie. Bun and patty were a bit dry but in overall it was ok for the price. Staffs can be a bit friendlier and they were constantly cleaning the table with spray and cloth regardless of customers were having dinner next to it.

Great service. Lines were out the door and we waited minimal time. Atmosphere was friendly. Restaurant was clean, and the workers were continually cleaning booths for incoming customers. Food was excellent. Orders were perfect and tasted wonderful.

Maybe Im use to Texas beef, but I found th hamburgers greasy and bland ( saw them scooping loads of fat into th beef), the buns are dry and if u ask for mayo you get miracle whip. A good place for locals and those who dont know any better.

Best burgers in Allen County hands down. If youre ever in the Lima area it is a must try spot. Double with cheese lettuce tomato onion green olives mustard ketchup and mayo ! A master piece of a sandwich.

Ordered two malts and could not understand what the worker was saying when she repeated my order. I said yes, because I did not know what to say. They gave me one malt, but rest of food was good!

Hamburger was just the best, but today the pop was watered down and the pecan pie was runny and the pecans were dried out. I eat here often and this is the first time I have been disipointed.
