Last week my family and I stopped at the Golden Corral in Elyria on our way home from Chicago. We have never been in this city before but we were familiar with the Golden Corral Franchise so we chose this particular restaurant. We had a great dinner and a great server. In fact our service was so good that my father in law left the young man a very great tip, enough for him to track us down and thank us personally. We left the restaurant feeling great about our experience until we noticed that our vehicles window was smashed and my purse was stolen! I left my purse in the car under other luggage because, again, we were on a weekend trip. The doors of our vehicle were locked, we have an alarm, the purse wasnt in plain sight, and we have tinted windows. I know that this happens everywhere however according to the police officer ( who showed up 45 minutes later) this happens all the time at this restaurant! Of course the Golden Corral is too cheap to put up servalience so this keeps happening over and over again. In fact, just from doind a google search, I found that this has happened 7 times in the same parking lot this year. The police officer told me that it happened in the same spot 2 hours after our incident. I feel like this restaurant only cares about the money the customers bring in and does not care about the safety of its patrons. So now, because I stopped to have dinner at a Franchise that I trust (HA), I have to pay over a thousand dollars to replace my window and my items (Car and homeowners have a big deductible). I have talked to several managers at this restaurant and they pretty much laughed at my face because "they have this phone call with customers all the time". Dont Risk Going to this Restaurant!

I had not eaten all day and was very excited for the buffet. However, considering I hadnt eaten, had no AC in my car, and had a touch of a virus to begin with, I got there feeling quite sick. Nauseous and faint. So my boyfriend brought me inside and the hosts were nice enough to bring me water while I sat down for a moment to regain my composure. Then the woman I assume is the manager came over and insisted on calling an ambulance. I assured her I just needed a bit of water and to sit out of the Sun, Id be just fine. But she told us that she cant have me sitting in her building like this. We said wed buy food, but she continued, saying I either need to leave or she will call an ambulance. I was livid, so I left to take a moment to sit outside before getting back in my hot car. And within minutes an ambulance and two cop cars arrived that she had called. Said she was complaining about my being on the restaurant property. I was so outraged and have never felt so disregarded as a human being. Further more, the policeman (who was so much more kind) even said he personally wont eat there because of all the drug addicts that work there.

Horrible HORRIBLE service. My family and I paid over $70 to eat there. 1. There were so many tables that were full of food and not being cleaned. 2. Im not sure if there was not enough wait staff but I never got my drink refilled after. 3. The hopsitality manager, Grant Grasha, was nothing but rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Another customer approached Mr. Grasha and said :"that there is a bout to be a fight up in here cause they are staring at me while i am eating". We were not " Staring" or even spoke to this customer at all during our time there. Mr. Grasha moved the customer but did not approach our table at all just said "do not make me escort you out of here" After that he approached our table and said if we did not calm down we were to be escorted out by police. Mind you, we had only been there about 20 minutes and we did not say anything. NEVER will go there again. never have i encountered such unprofessionalism and degrading service. I will not be going back there again.

I walked into the establishment and was greeted to the sweaty butt crack of an obese white woman who was trying to pick up her 2 year old brat. She probably heard me dry heave and she turned around to say sorry with a thick white trash Elyrian accent. A pungent odor filled the air. It was mixed with the odor of cigarettes, body odor and feces that I felt like I tasted. Got to the cash register and was greeted by a fellow Islam who looked displeased to work there. We said our hellos and then I proceeded to my table. I went to the buffet and was disgusted. Grease was all I could see for miles. I felt as if I was drowning in a sea of filth and grease mixed with hair and the smell of diapers that havent been changed in days. The place was full of infadels that just stared at my Gurcca like I was a terrorist.

Ok I know better than to do buffet, but sometimes you get lazy with the kids after a long day at the park. The people are nice if it is not too crowded and you can get there attention for little things. The food is always the same either over salted or no seasoning at all. Worst part is always watching the kids sneeze and then touch food with there hands...appetite gone. I rate it average because it is not A+. If this is A+, then what is Applebees ? A++++...right. Its the same as most, in that you get what you pay for most of the time.

The EXCELLENT SERVICE and the level to which Cindy, the owner/manager, went to accommodate my wife and I with our restrictive gluten-free and dairy-free diets were heroic, especially for a chain restaurant with very prescriptive food prep standards. She took care of us in ways that I did not think I could hope for. We were able to fully enjoy an important social occasion with dear friends because of the kindness and effort on her part. I would give this restaurant five stars were I a buffet/national chain guy rather than a foodie.

We love going to this Golden Corral because it is nice and clean. The manager is super nice, she always comes to our table to say hi. The hot food is always nice and hot and delicious. We drive way out of our way to come to this location. We do have a Golden Corral very close to home but its dirty and the food is awful. The employees are not very nice and dont keep the tables clean.

Theirs were a customer at the desert table wiping her nose with one hand and grabbing a cookie with the next plus she were at the end of table digging in nose than she went over where the soup were sorry but that will turn any body stomach especially when not even attempt to wash or used hands sanitizer thats how germs be spread.
