Second time eating here. First time was first thing in the morning, first customer. I had the corned beef hash and eggs. They used a different spice with the hash which it interesting. Not bad at all. Im picky about my eggs, and they did them right. This time I had the Texas skillet, which was pretty good. Steak was tender, but the potatoes got a bit over cooked, but the eggs were perfect. My wife had the chicken apple sausage scramble, which was not as good. The veggies, while fresh, didnt really complement the taste of the sausage. I tried a piece of the sausage and it was pretty good by itself. Service both times has been acceptable, and the restaurant is nice as well.

To start the food was edible. That was it. The coffee came in a cup half the size of a baby bottle, when I was able to get the waiters attention long enough to get some. Extremely over priced. Our server was absolutely terrible. Did not have any personality until it was time to pay and tip. To top it off, one of the servers had his 4-5 year old daughter sitting outside alone with a suitcase. My wife being a decent human being, stopped to ensure the girl was okay, and the guy tried to fight my wife and said she was looking at his daughter like a piece of meat. The manager offered us a discount for our next visit, like thats going to happen. Do not waste your time or money.

I called The Egg & I in Ocala, Florida to ask what their price range was because the menu on their website does not have their prices listed. I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes, so I hung up and called back. I was placed on hold again just to be put on the phone with a different person that said unless I know what I want they cant help me. I asked why they simply couldnt tell me what their cheapest price and most expensive price were so I could get a PRICE RANGE and they hung up on me. I did not want to know the price of every item on the menu, I only wanted a range. They were extremely unprofessional, I went to IHOP.

Worst management I have ever experienced. The family in front of myself and my child had an issue with their meal and the manager made the situation so much worse by arguing back and forth with them. After they said she was acting like trash on their way out the manager chased them out saying they look like trash with how they are dressed. A young man ran out and said f*** you! When I asked the woman why she is allowing her staff to speak like that in front of my child, she said Im sure he has heard worse, and had no apology. I will never be back.

Its a shame, because the food was actually not bad. However, we were seated, and nobody bothered to take a drink order from us for 20 minutes until my wife stopped a random server and told him. The manager came over, apologized, took our order. Unfortunately, she got the order wrong, because she didnt write anything down. We ate what we got, which was actually not bad. If they fired everyone there and got a competent wait staff, it would be a decent breakfast spot.

Over priced and the food is horrible. My eggs were soaked in butter and not fully cooked. My grits were runny and hard. Ive tried 3 different things to be fair, and they all disappointed me. I dont know how they have customers. Very poor quality food and service. On top of my food being almost not edible, I was charged 10 dollars for egg whites and grits. Thats insane to me! Will not be going back, even though it is the only place near my work. :(

I went here today my wife did not like her meal my son hated his meal. The prices kinda expensive like $6 for one pancake the average meal prices is around $10 but you really not getting a lot we should of went to Cracker Barrel. The service was real slow it was so slow we were going to walk out and just pay for our drinks.

I came after church hoping I can sit down and enjoy a nice breakfast but instead the people were extremely rude the food was cold no one came back to check on my table . I had a very unpleasant time . Will not be going back and will be telling friends of mine to go else where .
