So, I am always searching for the freshest sushi around town, and was mezmorized by my first experience with Kabuki. Its not your ordinary sushi diner...its a cool hip down to earth spot great for any occasion. There menu is extensive!! Not feeling sushi...I recommend the spicy pork or bulgogi. Not a vegetarian, but they have a lot of options for you herbivores....their tempora veggies are incredible! As for the sushi, best Ive had, hands down...fresh, the perfect infusion of toppings to make your taste buds dance! My favorite is the playboy roll...comes out on fire, literally...must get. The mafia roll, fresh on the palate, and their Dublin roll for a little sweet mixed with heat. They have Sapporo on tap...try the sake bomb...the owners are really friendly and you can tell they take pride in their business!! The staff are really down to earth laid back individuals and you can tell they love what they do....oh, and I love the music selection...pretty good tunes, not boring at all...the environment is upbeat. I cant wait to get back there soon...craving it already! I seldom write a review, but this place deserves it...if youre looking to try a amazing sushi restaurant, give them a shot...you will not be disappointed!!!

I have been to at least 20 different types of sushi and Korean restaurants, both in Ohio and in New York; and this is by far my favorite one! I keep trying other restaurants to see if I can find something with the same caliber, but always end up disappointed. If you are a picky eater like me, look no further than Kabuki in Dublin! Two of my favorite rolls are the Orchard and the Mexican. The Orchard roll is great for when you are looking for a nice clean, light and refreshing dinner. I like to pair this roll with the Mexican because the Mexican is more dense (its fried). It adds a little bit of heat and keeps me full all day long. I have had almost every roll on their staggering specialty menu, and will continue to come back time after time as one happy customer!! Thank you Kabuki for always putting a smile on my face with your awesome food!

I have tried sushi at many places. Nothing compares to the sushi at Kabuki in Dublin! I have lived in Florida for the past 8 years and had some pretty good sushi but now that I have had Kabukis sushi I am far to spoiled to get sushi anywhere else. I suggest the Playboy roll or the Dublin Roll! Its always fun to watch the sushi man make your sushi while sitting at the sushi bar, its quite the experience! The sushi is a great price as well. Now aside form the sushi the traditional Korean cuisine is far better than any other korean or asian restaurant. I suggest you try the Dol Sot Bimbimbob, Soon Tofu, and Bulgogi! You will be blown away by the food, drinks, atmosphere, and the staff. The staff is very polite and always there when you need something. Go try Kabuki in Dublin, I know youll love it!

Ordered sashimi with some sushi rolls. I was very hungry and scarfing down food but started feeling weird in my stomach. I looked closer at sashimi and noticed a weird slimey look on the fish. I smelled it and it smelled expired, stale. I almost puked. Waiter took it off my tab, nice of them. Obviously I wont be coming back as I found it completely irresponsible to serve meat like this. Whole point of sashimi is super fresh fish without any smell whatsoever. Person preparing this probably has no idea what hes doing. Too bad, their ratings are great and I didnt expect this to happen. Be careful with this place. I dont think I need to spell out the implications of eating expired fish that wasnt thermally processed. This can make you very sick, I only ended up with diarrhea so far

Outstanding and thats an understatement! After living in South Korea in the early 80s Ive missed Korean food and the Korean culture. When I found this place I was like a kid in a candy store. Really pleasant atmosphere and a staff that goes beyond friendly and the food, just incredible whether its an authentic Korean dish or one of their many delicious specialty sushi rolls. The experience is always uplifting and rewarding. Call me crazy, but I drive 30 miles just to eat at this place. That should tell you something.

Not a bad place. But way better options nearby. Japanese items were lacking flavor. Tempura too greasy - oil may have been too cold. Sushi average. Wasabi had no kick to it at all. Overall flavors were bland for my tastes. It is harder once you have travelled. Did not try more Korean dishes...maybe those are way better and we just ordered the wrong things. Service extremely slow. Maintenance on facility could use some work.

This was our first time here. We sat at the sushi bar. The chefs were very methodical in their preparation of the sushi and spoke very little. The sushi spoke for itself. We went for my daughters 19th birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The chefs gave us two extra plates of sushi on the house. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly but not overly. We will definitely be back. 御苦労様。

Kabuki is a treat of senses. From the moment I first stepped inside this chic venue (about a year ago) I was taken by the friendliest of service, delicious cuisine, and enjoyable atmosphere. Weve made this our friends night out dinner destination for the past 8 (or so) months. When we introduce others to Kabuki they are pleasantly surprised by the flavorful and artful experience. Cheers to Kabuki.

This place has got great variety and everything Ive had has been delicious. I especially enjoy the creative sushi rolls that they have available. They have a decent sake selection as well and have cheap drinks on Fridays. Not the fastest service Ive ever seen, but I can always get in and out during my hour long lunch break with time to spare. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Went for lunch and got the bulgogi lunch box with spicy veg soup. the soup was pretty good, tasted like a kimchi soup. came with a salad with an ok dressing, rich was cooked well. tempora was served well, crispy and soft on the inside, good quality. 4 peice cali roll sushi was very good. the bulgogi was sub par however, decent but wouldnt order again.

Because of a food allergy, I asked for a substitution in one of the sushi rolls I ordered. After I ordered, I looked over and saw the sushi chef just glaring at me, obviously upset. The waiter tried to cover for him, but it was obvious he was mad for having to customize my order. Food was good, but that experience ruined Kabuki for me.

First time ever for me in a restaurant that a server comes back with the wrong order and argues that he never makes mistakes, implying that its our fault. Whoever fault it was, we moved on. Told him that if its a big deal well keep the wrong order, but would like the correct one. Of course, we got charged for both.

I did not like sushi, that is until a friend made me try it Kabuki. They have a large array of sushi rolls, so there is plenty of choices to choose from. I have been back numerous times and have never left feeling disappointed. My favorite is probably the Fire Roll, and the spicy vegetable soup is excellent, too!
