The food was okay, it wasnt any different compared to any other Korean place Ive been to and honestly my mother makes it better. If youre going just for the experience of having the food cooked in front of you than have at it. The food is terribly overpriced &the service was terrible. The waitress was inexplicably bossy and demanding with us as she kept on adding plates we did not want onto our order. When a customer says they would only like 3 plates than we just want 3 plates, not 4 or 5 or 6. My boyfriend (who was placing the order for his family) felt like he was being treated rudely because he was not Korean. I chose to stay silent and not speak to the waitress at how much I abhorred her behavior. I am usually generous with tip but upon being treated so terribly I only gave 10%. The waitress then followed me saying, "more tip! more tip!" I left an extra five dollars because I did not want to be bothered any more by her nagging and just wanted to leave. I have never disliked a restaurant this much. Im sorry, but after being treated like I had no say in what I wanted for dinner there is no way I am tipping you 15-20% willingly. All she did was cut up the meat and put it on the grill. I could do that and just not give any tip at all. I refuse to go back here again.

너무 기대가 컸었는지.. 시카고에서 너무 좋은 인식이 있었던 조선옥 그래서 3시간 반 거리를 뒤로하고 아이들과 찾은 아틀란타 조선옥은 너무 큰 실망을 주었다. 갑자기 소나기가 왔었는데 천장에서는 비가 떨어졌고 그 빗물은 앉아 있는 의자 뿐 아니라 식탁에도 떨어졌는데 아무런 대처를 해 주지도 미안타 는 말도 없었고 시킨 갈비는 얼어 있는데 숯불에 올라 갔으며 손님이 앞에 있는데도 종업원끼리 불편한 언행을 계속했다. 음식은 음식대로 맘에 들지 않았고 이만한 돈을 들어 이런 곳에선 절대로 먹고 싶지 않았다. 부디, 이런 글이 도전이 되어 많은 개선을 바라며.. 그리운 시카고 조선옥은 명성을 이어 가길 바래본다.

I thought the value for the price was terrific. I went for the $19.99 and ended up choosing the $29.99 offering. The meat was a little inconsistent as the second order didnt have the same seasoning as the first but all in all I was very pleased with the food and would go back. The downside is that there was only one Woman serving the entire restaurant on a Saturday night. She did her best and was hustling but was clearly out gunned. Im a stickler for not being thirsty and I was thirsty for most of the meal. She would have been smart to just leave us a pitcher of water. I would have given a 4th star otherwise since I think the price is very reasonable and I saw some other soup dishes served that looked amazing.

The $20 option is excellent, the meat is tender, the staff is helpful. All around a nice place to sit and experience a family run Korean BBQ. Try the Kite beer with dinner, goes perfectly.

All you can eat Charcoal Korean bbq for $19.99. Only other place that does this is 678 and its only pork. These guys do chicken and beef too!
