If I could give fewer stars I would. The building is dilapidated. We still gave it a shot because there was a coupon from the Reach magazine. The first time we went it was good. The food was delicious and the run down exterior was forgotten. This Friday, 8/26 we went back. It was myself, my husband, and our almost three year old son. Our son had been with us before and really liked the "show". Anyhow, upon greeting the hostess. I say greeted her, because she was far from welcoming to us with a gruff how many? We told her three. She offered us a booster which was great. She walked us to a totally empty table. Their table arrangements have two on either side and three in the middle. The hostess asked us to sit two on the side with the third in the middle section. We said wed prefer to sit altogether to better watch our son and converse. The hostess said that was not an option. My husband then said, "do you want to just go somewhere else?" I asked the woman why we (a part of three) couldnt sit at the three top portion. She said because it was a weekend they were too busy. I said this table is empty and we dont mind waiting until a couple comes in to fill in the two top side she was trying to make us fill (I figured it wouldnt be long Friday night is a common date night). She told me no. I said it would be helpful to put our son in the middle of us. She still said no. I said ok, lets leave. While I was buckling my son in a couple walked in the restaurant. I walked back in the restaurant to ask why we couldnt have just waited, had the couple sit in the two person seating area, and our party not been expected to straddle the corner. The hostess had no answer. I asked to speak to her manager. He/She was not there. I asked to speak to her boss. He/she was also not there. I asked to speak to the owner and she handed me a business card. Our family will not be back. I recommend your family avoid it too.

By far one of the worst experiences of my life. I love sushi and normally I go to my favorite place called Sakai in troy. They were not open yet and I was in the mood so I went to Sake on miller lane. Noticed a sign on the outside 30 percent off sushi and I was super excited. Was seated. Waitress comes up and starts touching me ahh, big guy.. Im like wtf. So ordered food. Shimp tempura roll, and also one of the supposed sampler plates. Miso came, was cold, was served with salad .. odd tasting.. the soup was also overly salty. So the food came.. the tempura roll was okay .. nothing overly special. Then received the 25 dollar sampler plate. Sushi was pictured but received Sashimi.. the fish was room temp and I didnt finish it. Which knowing me, is shocking. My dad ordered shrimp, lobster, steak, and chicken specialty plate. It came out overcooked, 2 pieces of shrimp, and all mixed together in cubes. Couldnt tell what the lobster was and asked. Was told.. ooo very small lobsters. Side note.. the people working are not Japanese, but chinese.. my dad started speaking Japanese and they were impressed and said in english oooh you speak Japanese how cool. Then he switched into Chinese and they started up a conversation. After paying our 80 dollar bill I started to get a stomach ache and we actually stopped to use the restroom before we even got home. Poor quality food, will not be going back.

Complete waste of $70! Sushi we ordered was small/misshapen, kind of just slopped together. The salmon was very fishy and inedible. One of our fried rolls was split down the side and cooked to tough on the inside. Sauces looked like they were just dumped on top. The tempura sauce tastes watered down and the hot sake was rancid. Obviously there is no pride or even standards for the food there any longer. The service was ok, though I was a little offended that the manager tried to come cover me with a napkin while I was breastfeeding my baby. We paid our bill, tipped our waitress and left most of the food we ordered. This isnt over dramatization top get out of a bill, the food was genuinely the worst Ive ever had!

My mom and I stopped here to eat on our way from Columbus to Indianapolis. It was great. We love sushi and theirs was very impressive. Huge selection. Apparently they are having a special all July, which is half price sushi rolls. We took advantage and ate some of the normally higher priced rolls. The Spider Crab roll was amazing, and I always get a Shrimp Tempura roll at sushi places, which was also very good. They even had green tea ice cream and ginger ice cream. Well definitely be stopping here again.

Chef was not entertaining ! Just over cooked the food and that was it. I have been to many resturants with hibatchi style cooking and they always got the customers involved and made it fun. That is not the case for this resturant. I felt pressured to eat and get out. The food was not served all at once, but instead by item, which caused the courses to get cold as the cooking went on. The shrimp and lobster were also very over cooked. This resturant was not worth the money spent.

While the food was good I was very turned off when another guest to our party arrived just before 2 pm and they refused to serve them stating that they close at 2 pm. Then while we continued to complete our meals, staff returned to our table and rudely (disguised with a smile) asked us to hurry because they were now closed to prepare for dinner servicing at 4 pm. This is rude and unappreciative of our patronage. I will NEVER dine at this establishment again.

Place looks a little sketchy from the outside, and even the interior isnt anything to write home about, but I cant deny that the food was delicious. And they offer lunch portions for a lower price on Saturdays (most places only offer the lunch portions on weekdays), so its very reasonable. Our group got a variety of meats and everyone was very happy with the meal. If they fixed up the place and made it a little easier on the eyes, this would be a 5-star.

yea this place was cheap and so were the people. horrible service. they do not understand the phrase "customer service". worst place ive ever been for a Japanese steak house. very disappointing. they ruined my sushi which we still had to pay $20 for even though we ate non of it what-so-ever, and after i asked if they could fix it they said no and then continue to argue with me saying it was my fault. no it wasnt lady you just didnt listen.

The food was pretty bad in my opinion. I ordered the shrimp hibachi and it was so over cooked I cant imagine how bad the chicken was that looked way more over cooked than my shrimp. The fried rice it just white rice with some sort sauce and then they give you thousand island to put over if you want? The clear soup was just water with a couple of onions in it and the salad was just lettuce with thousand island on it
