I always enjoy anything with teriyaki for a low price. So I was excited to see one open outside a mall closer to home. Ive visited this place a few times in the first few months it opened. I like they offered brown rice as well as regular rice, and much broader menu than you see at the malls. But there are a few dislikes: Myself and my boyfriend have had digestive issues a few times after (we had sushi and tempura). Theres no unsweet tea, or many options that are not sweet drinks. Theres 110 options for drinks(they have the 106 flavor coke machine, and raspberry tea, southern style tea, diet tea with fake sugar, sweetened green tea) but none offer an unsweet tea. 95% of the population can find something to drink, but Id mention it because I just prefer to drink water, tea, or juice. We still go because we love the food, but just less often, and I get water.

They handle their mad customers well. A woman came in and I listened to her order. She waited the 5mins it takes to cook the food and these guys are goin ham trying to make the order perfect. They finally get it to her and she was disgustingly rude. She said it was all wrong and looking for a free meal etc. The woman at the counter didnt even argue with her: she turned around and handed it to a woman who came in to hang out: they remade the rude ones food to the second way she insisted she said: and she left. The woman who ate the free food was delighted and insisted on paying for it but they wouldnt let her. Wonderful staff, I even tried to pay for it: they said no no : it was going to be wasted anyway. :P Great food I love the sushi and the bento box. Great portions for what you order. Love this place <3

Ive driven an hour (in traffic) to eat here. This might seem a little over the top to eat fast food, but I really enjoy it. I just wish it was closer, because its to far to drive all the time. I thought the Spider Roll was delicious, and the Teriyaki is pretty awesome too. Plus, according to the AJC, they plan to devote 10% of profits to "build wells, finance orphanages and help other charities around the world". Awesome food, awesome vision. Im a fan.

Chicken Teriyaki is very tasty, as everyone vouched for it. I took the Chicken Bento box, good quantity for 9$, fried rice(my choice), garden salad, California roll (4 pcs)- extra 50cents, Dumplings (3 pcs), ginger and wasabi. We went 10 mins before closing, last order is at 8:50pm and the restaurant closes by 9pm, but the lady behind the counter was friendly and let me eat till past 9pm. The place looked clean.

Went here a few months back after seeing the Facebook page for the cool Coke "Freestyle" machine and was extremely surprised by how good the food was compared to my local Sarku (25 miles away compared to, ahem, 93 for this one). Came back recently and was disappointed. No Freestyle Coke machine (which was a pretty big draw) and the food just wasnt up to par.

First impression was not good. The woman working the counter didnt even notice we had walked in... I ordered 2 sushi rolls here and I have to say there are much better places around for the same price... I also had some of my friend chicken teriyaki and I am of the same opinion. There is better down the street... I Sadly disappointed...

Great value for your teriyaki chicken fix. Sarku Japan is a stand alone version of the food court version typically found in the mall. The food is plentiful for the $7 you spend although the quality isnt necessarily top notch. The staff here was cordial but not Miss Congeniality. Not a bad place for a quick bite.

This should not be considered Japanese. It is simply oriental style FAST FOOD. Very disappointed. Vegetables were mainly cabbage. Fried rice was.... well, it had soy sauce on it- wouldnt call it fried rice. Stopped because we wanted fresh Japanese food. Should have gone next door to Panda Express.

So much good food for an excellent price. Try the teryaki chicken - it is absolutely fantastic. Lots of fun to try out the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine with its 106 flavor choices. And talk about excellent, friendly service!!

The food quality is inconsistent, which is a huge disappointment. Eating there is like trying to win the lottery - you never know if they are going to over cook your meat or rice, which is sad.

Excellent American Japanese food. Delicious teriyaki, very good (albeit uninspired) sushi. This isnt an impress-your-date place, this is a we-have-to-eat-quickly-but-want-it-to-be-good place.
