So. Came to Dayton for the air show. Super excited to find the Oregon district. Went to an "Irish pub" that shall remain unnamed, and was lightly annoyed by the staff there. Decided to wander across the street and check out Corner Kitchen. HOLY AWESOME FOOD AND SERVICE, BATMAN! They were pretty busy, but managed to get the two of us sat in about 5 minutes. Taylor was our server, and he was awesome. Great salads, fabulous seasonal Borscht, and the burger was just DRIPPING with awesomeness. My wife had the gnocchi, and they were excellent too. 10/10, will return on the next visit to town. Highly recommend to anyone seeking an upscale meal in a casual environment that wont bust your wallet.

Not good. I was there on Wednesday around 6pm. The only thing that looked good was chicken pot pie. It was sold out (not like I was there after 8pmLOL) . All other items had pork or bacon on them . YUCK! ! I ordered chicken parmigiano without(the stupid bacon..? can you believe bacon on thia classic Italian dish? ) OK pasta AL dente, but chicken half cooked? That is what I got. After about spending $60.00 , what a waist , should have donated it to the Food Pantry! They should call it quits. So very bad. Give your money to a beggar instead. It will be better spent.

Everything was good, but I was expecting better given the reviews. We had the gnocchi with orange goat cheese and peas as an appetizer and then I had chicken and biscuits. The actual gnocchi was fine, but the mixture of the orange goat cheese and peas didnt work so well. The biscuits were the low point of the entree. They reminded me of canned biscuits. They had a couple of decent craft beers. Their specialty black walnut Old Fashioned was pretty good.

Corner Kitchen is a cozy place with great food for brunch or dinner. I went for Sunday brunch once and really enjoyed their bloody mary bar. Corner Kitchen has the only bloody mary I have ever liked. I dont like the typical bloody mary, but the verde bloddy mary that I got from Corner Kitchen was just amazing. Also, I have been to dinner at Corner Kitchen quite a few times and I have always had good service. :)

Food was good. Service was exceptional, They go above and beyond to take care of their diners. Only downside is you will come out smelling like waffle house. The exhaust here is terrible. My leather car seats have taken a couple of days to get over this visit, even my underwear stunk! Price was reasonable, $110 with tip and that included 4 entrees, 2 shared deserts and a cocktail for a table for 4.

My significant other is a chef and we have a toddler, so carry out is key for me since Im usually solo. Nicer places arent usually that Keen to do carry out, but this group is so friendly and the food is so good Ive been there twice this week! The fries are perfect and stay crispy well over an hour. The nacho chips are house made, thick and delicious. Im excited to try everything they have!

This place is amazing! I had the mussels and macaroni. Everything of mine was perfectly cooked and so delicious, as well as my husbands burger and fries. The cocktails were great. Service was super friendly and fast. The bathrooms also had these little care baskets in them in case you forgot something like hairspray or mints. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Corner Kitchen has a menu that changes periodically so that means they are always coming up with things that utilize whatever is fresh. Great choices - and I loved that what I got was tasty and healthy at the same time. It was a bit noisy inside so we sat outside. We still got great service and we were comfortable.

Weve eaten at just about every other restaurant thats well liked in Dayton, and Corner Kitchen is far and above our favorite. It hits all the right notes with well prepared, creative but comforting cuisine thats always fresh, paired with an inviting atmosphere. Favorite dishes are the toasts, steak, and specials

Prices very reasonable. Thursday evening crowd good but not obnoxious. Bartender friendly and very knowledgeable about offerings, Dan was his name. Location accessible with decent sized partially shaded patio. Would come again and definitely recommended! 1/2 plate Braised Pork Pasta and BLT Toaster.

Ive been here twice. I had one of their burgers the first time which was big with lots of fries. The second time I had their Friday Fish and Chip special. Both were very good. There is long line during the weekend during dinner. You need to give your name when coming in and taking first available spots.

Very cool atmosphere and kind staff. They are bringing something new to the Oregon District that I didnt know it was missing until my visit last night: a bar type atmosphere with delicious food thats not too expensive. Their menu is one of the best Ive had and you cant beat it at the price!

Even though we didnt get a "seat" -- eating at the bar was fantastic! The bartender was friendly, helpful and efficient. We could have stopped at the appetizers -- but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs -- so we made it an event including dessert!!

The service was superb. Very friendly and attentive wait staff. The food was delicious; everyone at our table enjoyed their respective meals. Prices are a bit steep, but as long as you are not seeking a "cheap eats" kind of place, you wont be shocked.

Dinner last night was great. We werent very hungry so unfortunately we didnt sample very much, but the veal tacos were outstanding. Bruschetta and poutine were scrumptious as well and the patio was lovely. Will come back for a full dinner!

So happy to have a place like this in Dayton! Its not pretentious yet the food is refined, and everything seems to be made in house. We tried tons of things on the menu to give it a real go, and each dish was just as good as the next.

My boyfriend is from the Dayton area and he has always wanted to dine at the Pine Club so for his 33rd birthday we decided to give it a shot....for a party of six on a Monday night it was at least an hour and a half wait.

Pizzas hand made, and you can watch through their large picture window as pizza dough is spinning in the air. Pizza is good, but I really prefer their salads. The grape walnut salad is out of this world.

Excellent service, without being over-bearing, casual, yet elegant atmosphere, option to dine outside, perfectly cooked and flavored dishes left nothing on the plate. And a tantalizing cocktail to boot!

Its a casual feeling restaurant. Very clean and well decorated. I was impressed both with the service and knowledge of the wait staff. Food was excellent. My table recommended each of their dishes.
