Slightly off the beaten track and totally worth it! I found myself in the cute surrounding neighborhood and needed a place to work for about an hour. This coffee shop is a bit hidden - off a side street with a garage door on the exterior but it’s not to be missed! The barista was super friendly and made me a fantastic chai tea. The weather was slightly chilly that day and he was playing gypsy music that seemed to perfectly match the weather. The vibe was a bit hipster but nothing too crazy. Cozy inside. Felt like I could have been in Portland, Oregon. Plenty of seating - I found a spot at a communal table and busted out an hour of work. Good internet connection as well. If I’m back in the area, I’d love to come back!

Buzzing and happening place. Crawled up and down the Short North area drinking coffee and writing and this is my favorite. Less impressive on the outside but a perfect little shop inside. Good energy in the atmosphere. I am a bit of a coffee snob and they deliver in a big way with their hand brewed coffee. Clean and crisp flavor served by knowledgeable baristas. Sitting and watching morning coffee service I was impressed with a constant obsession with cleanliness and maintaining equipment. If you want to fuss over the cost of coffee - go where it isnt great. Great coffee is $1 a cup. Thanks for a great experience.

Mission is one of my favorite coffee shops in Columbus. They are one of the few good craft coffee shops in Columbus that offers various sizes for drinks rather than the single-size approach of many shops in the area. The coffee is always amazing. The baristas are definitely well trained, however the baristas are not extremely friendly. They are nice, but I have never actually held a conversation with a barista here. Additionally, the place is usually pretty crowded, so its not the best spot to bring a group to.

Im not even a huge fan of hipster coffee places but this place has some of the best coffee Ive ever tasted. The cold brew is my favorite if you like that sort of thing. Also the staff is really nice, I spilled my cold brew all over myself the last time I was in there. They were cool enough to help clean it up and even gave me about a half glass of cold brew for free since I spilled mine. Thanks so much guys! Anytime Im in Columbus Ill get my coffee here.

Pulling Deeper Roots Alchemy and 4B Friendo Blendo at the moment on a Strada. Probably do a better job with the former than the latter. Results not on par with the best, but probably best in Columbus. Would like to see the appearance of a SOE on the bar. Full collection of non-espresso paraphernalia, friendly staff, nice space. Selling retail bags of Deeper Roots or 4B; sometimes they have beans from 4B that are not sold on the Four Barrel website.

Finally... a place in Columbus where people not only know what theyre doing with coffee, but also know what theyre doing in terms of staff selection. The "Mission Family" behind this enterprise make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. No attitude of caffeinated superiority, just good old fashioned kindness channeled through superb service along with a cup of great java. Well done, sirs. Well done.

The drinks are made well, and the customer service is surprisingly better than you would expect given the generation of youth this coffee shop caters to (Millennials and younger). Only critique is the blaring music - in spite of the fact that over half of the folks sitting in the coffee shop are rocking their latest "Beats by Dre" purchase or displaying the only time they will have both of their Apple AirPods.

Awesome coffee place!! I got an almond chai and it was probably the best Ive ever had! Husband got a vanilla latte and that was also amazing! Cool designs on the lattes. Only reason they dont get 5 stars from me is because we got 2 croissants butter and ham/cheese, and the ham/cheese one was a big disappointment especially for the price we paid! Very clean, cool and friendly baristas, and worth the $$.

Mission Coffee Co. has become a Short North staple for entrepreneurs, designers, developers, creatives and coffee drinkers. The ambiance is gritty, but its not trashy. Hop on social media and youll see hundreds of photos including succulents, latte art and every form of hipster you could ask for. Quality and craftsmanship are at the core of what they do. And I admire that. But Im biased.

Busy little coffee shop in short north. Cons: sometimes theres a little bit of a wait, its hard to find a place to sit with outlets, and its a bit noisy to be hunkering down to get work done. Pros: super nice baristas, good vibes (esp when they open the garage door in nice weather), and they have this amazing Gui Fei Oolong Tea!

I havent found a better coffee shop in Columbus yet. A perfect latte every time - perfect velvety milk foam every time and its free poured so the espresso mingles with the foam and its just heaven. Mission Coffee has a cool location, too. They have big garage doors that they open in the summer and its very nice.

Mission is probably my favorite coffee shop in the Short North. Their coffee is grand. The baristas are incredibly helpful. They make their own syrup for their mochas, which is impressive, delicious, and local. The atmosphere is just busy enough to make it the perfect place to get some work done.

The pour overs are great and the vibe is laid back. Even in the summer with the students away, its a popular spot. Several lists rank Mission as the #1 third wave coffee shop in Short North, and Im inclined to agree. I had a pour over of their house Rwanda and was really happy with it.

The wait can feel excessive at times, but it is always worth it. My favorite spot for a cortado. The vibe is always relaxed as there are places for studying or hanging out on the sofa with a few friends. Of the many coffee options in the short north, this is the place to be.

This place is so damn pleasant. The atmosphere, the staff, the coffee. Everything is top notch. If youre in the area and need a coffee, this is the place to go. No ifs ands or buts about it. Shut up and drink coffee here, you wont regret it.

The most ridiculous cafe filled with pretentious hipsters all lumped together like The Trump America Ohio is. Youre lucky to find a chair or table as everyone seems to think that this is the only place to look cool. Its dreadful and pathetic.

O.K. ... I confess. I am a coffee addict. This place is the real thing. Had a ham and cheese croissant with a cup of Colombian from the AeroPress. Delicate, fruity - not a hint of bitterness. They get an "A+". What else can I say?

As a transplant Buckeye in Portland, I was pleasantly surprised to see Olympia Coffee Roasting, a hidden gem in the PNW. These dudes know theyre stuff! They pulled my Americano perfectly. Proud of where Ohio coffee is going!

Urban coffee house great for urban-dwellers looking for a place to work or meet. All drinks are made to your preference with fresh beans specifically harvested and roasted for Mission. Dog-friendly.
