I tell everybody about him. No other jamerican restaurant in Columbus can compete. Im from new York with a Jamaican father. It tastes just like some home cooking. He is hands down the best in the 614. The one on Cleveland and myrtle left me sick as hell from their ackee and saltfish. And the other main jamerican spot on Livingston Ave burned my food, rice and all. They felt it was OK to serve it to me like that. No! But he shows you a preview of your plate before you pay. No matter where I am at in columbus, I will travel to here for his food.

Posted noon opening time is a general estimate, so I recommend going at 12:30 or later. Excellent small Jamaican carry-out location serving curry chicken, brown stew, jerk chicken, curry goat, fish and shrimp. I got the medium size curry chicken and it was a massive serving of food for $8. Chicken was nicely seasoned and not loaded with salt so I could season as I wanted at home. Highly recommended for fans of West Indian food.

this is the best Jamaican spot in OHIO! and I have been to alot in cleveland, columbus, dayton, and Cincinnati, the brother is so laid back with good vibes and positive attitude! the best jerk chicken I had outside of jamica, and the rice with the cabbage and plaintains, and the dumblings, this is the only jamaican resturant I will go to, one love brother and thanks for the convo and the atomospher with great food!

It was a Great size when they first opened. But I noticed a huge down size and for the same price. Taste is good most the time but have had a few bad days the last Few visits. Its been over a few mouths since Ive gone back for these reasons. Used to go every weekend when they would actually be open. Very nice people also Ive never seen Beef Patties on the menu.

I have been going here for a while now..Curry chicken, jerk chicken, and brown stew are EXCELLENT..owner is very friendly and a great cook. I was weary of the area, but I will drive far just to eat here! I recommend this place to everyone. My daughter who is 5 also loves everything she has tried here..and many things are not spicy :)

I cant speak for all his dishes but it was the worst jerk chicken Ive ever tasted it made me and my wife want to puke.. I wouldnt give it to my son in the car with me. Also, he was very rude and I did not feel welcome in his restaurant. Its Ja- Fakican

Another great spot to eat gotta give credit the owner does a great job with the jerk chicken cooks it fresh on a daily basis you smell the aroma of the chicken in the air. The cook means bussiness go check it out when you get time

Very delicous food, everything was seasoned fantastically, great serving for the prices, comes out quick and hot! The customer service was great! The only thing id say is to change the chicken. But everything else was delicious!

in this area. But it was decent. The chicken was kind of dry...but good flavor. Also, the plate was mostly rice, and less jerk chicken. But still good food. Staff was friendly also.

The guy has a bad attitude, not worse than mine could get. But i wouldnt quarrel with someone like him, bitter. Oxtails were watery..did not enjoy food to top it off.
