Some outsider journalists have been making much ado about this place and stupidly locating it in the Hilltop neighborhood, which it aint in. Its Briggsdale, foolish ones. This is the closest Ive been to the food I ate while I was in viejo Mexico. Many of us gringos might ball at some of the protein choices: beef head. Tripe. Beef tongue. That being said one can still get delectable stand bys like chicken and steak. The only negative is the long wait times, but this place is bumping most of the time its open, so deal with it.

Get ready to wait a long time if you dont order ahead. It took them over 30 minutes for a to-go Burrito. The taste was average. The price was affordable. The kitchen staff looked disorganized, the smoke was everywhere, the lady that order before I did was disappointed with the small amount of food on her tostadas. Overall, if I ever go back, I will call ahead at least 30 minutes before picking up the food. Good luck

This little place is great! Good authentic Mexican style food. I have yet to have something I didnt like here. My favorite however is the chicken Fajitas! Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly and the prices and great! Top it off all the staff are so nice, polite and helpful! Only thing I recommend is putting in an AC it gets hot in their opening the door isnt enough when its 100° out!

Well... if I could give more stars I would. Considering I was going to chipotle 4 days a week and now I have found myself here at El Ranchito 4-5 days a week. Hands down no questions asked, best burrito out there and tacos that are 2nd to none. Go there and eat it to go or sit down and you will not be disappointed! CHITTTTTTTO!!

Fresh food, fast service, many options. TRY THE TONGUE. I had never had it before and I tried my sons tongue burrito. It was even more tender than the steak! Flavors were wonderful. The Jamaica drink is fruity & delicious. Big, tasty food for great prices. Hidden gem of the Westside!

This place has the most legit tacos Ive had in a sit down. Its like my favorite taco truck, but in a building. The staff was friendly, food was appropriately fast, and the hot sauce lit my mouth up like I wanted it to.
