My husband and I went here just once. The food was mostly cold (or lukewarm at best) and very bland. The service left a lot to be desired. The worst part of all, and I am not making this up, one of the servers was at a little podium station (in the middle of the dining room) reading over a menu or a seating chart (I could not tell what it was) but she was facing me and I watched in horror as she began to PICK HER NOSE! She had her finger in there past the first joint and was digging around and around. We are not talking a swipe of the nose here. And this woman had been refilling our drinks!!! I was in a stupor for a minute, my jaw on the ground. My husband (who had his back to her) kept saying, "What is wrong?" and I finally heard him, dropped my fork, picked up my purse and announced that we were leaving. I will never go back to what we all now refer to as "Booger Buffet".

I will go to this buffet because its so close my apartment if I dont feel like driving. I had a Co worker tell me that a friend of hers found a roach in their food here but you know how hearsay is.... Its hearsay. I do know they should get a makeover of their run down dining room and if the kitchen is represented by the restroom and the dining room cleanliness as well as appearance then who wants to go back to the kitchen and see the truth, I know I dont. But anyway its always the same same here not to mention this elderly family lady who runs the buffet gets very protective over the salt and pepper shrimp. I believe this family wants you to eat minimal amount of the good stuff....

My Son and nephew recently visited this restaurant and was racially profiled, after going to this place since he was a young child with both his parents, he was asked to pay before eating and he had no understanding, but dont you guys worry he nor i or my husband will ever step foot back in your place we even gave you a second chance after being on DIRTY DINING you really blew it this time.so sad that in this time and day my son would have to experience this especially from a foreigner SHAME ON YOU EASTLAND BUFFET 2599 South Hamilton Road

i went there for lunch on march 31 2015 around 3pm i was eating my food and was having a great lunch until i went up to the buffet and as i was getting food i watch one of there employees was putting food that another customer that was getting food and took if off of there plate and used his hands to put the food back on the buffet this was so nasty his hands had dirt and what look like to oil on them very nasty save you money go some where else

Hands down, this is the absolute best asian buffet i have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The food is excellent, the service outstanding, its clean, friendly, comfortable and best of all very fairly priced. They try to remember you if you come frequently and personalize your service by remembering drink orders and preferred seating arrangements. A+ rating overall!!!

hostess are rude crab legs were bland mac and cheese was dry and when i went back to buffet i looked like the may had add water to mac and cheese. mussels had hard dryness to them and i pretty sure food wasnt being kept at correct temps.... i have been her several times... but it has been a while this was the first time i have had this experience... but i wont be back.

This was an alright place to stop and eat. Their general tsos and sesmi chicken was good, but really sweet instead of spicy. I noticed that pretty much everything on the buffet was sweet, including their crab rangoon. I usually like shrimp, but I didnt care for anything that they had with shrimp in it. They do have a really good pepper chicken.

Unfortunately the people working there think its acceptable to put food that has fallen on the counter back into the buffet. I thought I was seeing things, until I saw it happen a couple more times while I was there. If they are that dirty in the front, who knows what they are doing in the back. Ill never eat there again.

My husband and I love this restaurant. The food is great, the staff seems friendly enough, but the only reason for the not-quite-full-rating is their bathrooms arent exactly the cleanest. Every time weve eaten there, the dishes and flatware weve used have been immaculate, but the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired.

Im eating here right now. The bathroom was clean, no locks on the stalls. Food is great. From what Im seeing, its fresh. Employees arent very enthusiastic, but still do a great job. How excited they are isnt a big deal, because Im here to eat, not be entertained. Overall, everything youd expect from a Chinese buffet.

Everytime my brother and I go there we always have a great time. I tried others Asian buffet and none of them can compare to this one. Food is tasty and delicious, not salty, yet seasoned to the T. Worth my money and time, highly recommend it. They alway great you once you arrive and also on your way out.

I was there for lunch and was not disappointed! Fantastic! When a buffet has salmon, egg foo young, along with the expected dishes, Im impressed. It had it all. Very tasty, good service, nicely decorated interior. Enjoy!

Food is good but not great. My favorite being the broccoli chicken. Everything will fill you up. You really do feel like you get what you paid for. The staff is a little cold and they seem unwelcoming. Place is clean though.

Im very picky about my Chinese food but this buffet is all right. Its convenient and you can take out for pretty cheap. The food is pretty good. I go about once a week. I would probably go every day if I could afford it.

Every other plate was dirty with dried up food on it. We waited 20+ minutes for a drink refill and they never took are dirty plates from are table so we definitely wont be back.

Lo mein was good, but everything else subpar. Poor cuts of meat with little flavor in the dishes. Even messed up the sugared biscuits, which had a strong chemical aftertaste.

I like the crab legs. I would like it even better if the butter stayed hot. The other food is good to. I think they have a good selection. Its our spot when we want a buffet!
