Chop Shop is a newcomer to the campus area, but dont let that fool you. Chop Shop has an exceptionally well designed, spacious interior with plenty of available seating. There are TVs all throughout the restaurant all displaying different sports channels, but theyre understated to make Chop Shop feel like an upscale burger joint as opposed to a sports bar. The burgers are made with fresh ingredients, and it definitely shows. All of my friends enjoyed their respective burgers, especially the Western Burger. I personally enjoyed a Blue Buffalo burger and fries. The blue cheese they used for it was amazingly tasty and the buffalo sauce added a nice balance to the cool blue cheese. Their fries are reminiscent of Five Guys, and are really tasty with the optional malt vinegar offered. Overall Id recommend Chop Shop for its great decor and amazing value, with a small fry (a very healthy portion), a specialty burger, and a soft drink only being $10. They also have hot dogs, which I didnt get to try, but they appear to be pretty tasty as well, especially if the burgers are any indication.

I take all my out-of-town friends here for a good cheap burger when dinner isnt the main event of the night. For the $5-7 range, these burgers are way tastier than spending the same amount of money at Jimmy Johns, Dominos, Noodles, Panda Express or any of the other reasonably fast places nearby. I tend to go for the Western Burger to get my onion ring fix without ordering a side of them, since a side of giant onion rings is entirely too much to eat. Also, the milkshakes are phenomenal if you have room for one.

Something to Surprise YOU! Every time I am in Chop Shop it is always a very pleasant experience. The staff is always very responsive and helpful. The food is also very delicious, I was not expecting what I received after only paying about $5. The orders always come out very quickly, something shocking for a sit-down resteraunt. I would highly recommend Chop Shop to anyone also if Im not mistaken they do have vegetarian options as well.

Went to chop shop today, ordered a double Blue buffalo burger to go - I waited 25 minutes for the burger, walked home, and discovered it only had one patty. So my wait was way too long and they got my order wrong. It was like paying an extra 3 dollars for the same hamburger. I really want to like this place, Ive been here before and have been satisfied but today they really did me wrong.

Love this place, especially in the warmer weather when the front windows are open. They have one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had! Good kids menu and small, but nice, beer selection. Plenty of seating and tasty burgers. I have also had their spinach salad which is pretty darn tasty. I work near here so we often stop in Friday nights for dinner. One of our go-to spots.

The good: Service was somewhat prompt and friendly Wait time was short Options are great The Bad: For the price, we expected the burger to be a little better in quality and flavor The patties were so small that the bread overpowered the entire sandwich. The fries were not cooked well. They did not have much crispness to them. Also, very soggy in the center.

Kind of high priced for what u actually get. Got 2 bacon cheese burgers and 2 fries 2 drinks little over $30.00 for it. What we got food wise was ok. Drinks were delicious though. Got a mudslide milkshake....with alcohol. Can be non-alcoholic if u want it to be. Nice music playing and nice atmosphere. Obviously paying for that. Lol

Nice clean environment, just didnt care for the food. I sat down an ate after ordering a cheeseburger with lettuce tomatoe and onion with a side of fries and onion rings. 5 mins later my stomach started to ache. Not a good burger at all! Just a Five Guys knockooff in my opinion.

Best short order burgers on campus. Better than 5 guys for sure, especially because they have a great selection of beer! Fries are better, more options for your burger, and a much nicer atmosphere to sit in and eat your burger. I go at least once a week and love it every time.

The onion rings are addicting. To the point that you should just order the large size now and be prepared to take a few home in the paper bag with you. They keep surprisingly well overnight in a fridge. Milkshakes are a bit of a 3/5 but the burgers are top notch.

The Chop Shop has the best milkshakes and onion rings Ive ever had. The burgers are great and inexpensive, and the amount of fries you get for a small is almost too much for me. Definitely worth the short wait time for my food. Ill be going back plenty of times.

Great burger; terrible fries. The burger was really good, but the fries tasted like cardboard. The texture of the burger was great, and at a little more than $5, it was a good deal. But the fries from McDonalds or Wendys are better than these.

The burgers are a little on the small side for the price for some options but the Chop Shop original is a good deal and their fries are usually nice and hot. Chop Shop is a good option to consider when you just want a burger and some fries.

This place nails it on all points. Great food, decor, friendly staff, and super affordable. Delicious gourmet burger, a giant pile of fries (the smallest size), and a draft craft beer was $13.00. My new favorite burger joint in Cbus.

Two stars because the food is really good, but I have gone on multiple occasions when they close an hour to an hour to and half before there posted time of 11. I dont care when they close, but if you say youre going to be open, be open.

This place is pretty good. The burgers by themselves are a good deal, but they rope you in with the $2.50 fries and drink combo, which makes it not such a good deal anymore. Everything is tasty though. The atmosphere is nice and modern.
