I used to eat at this place every other day, because it was open really late, had cheap food, and was a block away from my house. But the foods doubled in price, theyve reduced the hours, and Ive moved 5 blocks away. Theres really no point in going any more, but I do once in a while just to see if its gotten better. It hasnt. So heres the situation now: - The food is low quality - not necessarily bad, just really low quality ingredients - rice/vegetables that were obviously frozen, cheap tough meat, etc. It used to be justified by the low price, but thats changed too. - The food is expensive now - fajitas have gone from $7 to $13 but not changed in quantity or quality. They used to have various specials that were pretty decent ($5 lunches, some 2 for 1 dinners), but theyve either gotten rid of these or added so many restrictions that its no longer a good deal no matter what you get. - I have two friends who have thrown up for hours and had to spend the day in bed after eating here. Theyve never had this problem at any other restaurant. - Above all the service is atrocious. I have never been to a restaurant with such consistently poor service. Even when the place is empty. They have a deal where if your lunch isnt ready in 10 minutes, its free. Mine took 25 minutes once, and they wouldnt give it to me for free. The last 7 times Ive gone I have had 7 different waiters/waitresses, and all of them, after bringing out the food, never came back. I never get drink refills, and have had to wait for the check upwards of 45 minutes, never less than 20. Even when the place is empty. In fairness, the authenticity, atmosphere, and free chips remain as positive qualities. My advice: - Dont go. - If you do go, make absolutely sure you signal to the waiter/waitress when you want the check or a refill - sometimes it take 5 or 10 minutes, but they will bring it out - but if you dont ask, they WILL NOT check on you. - If you do go, make absolutely sure you have coupons - they publish coupons in a lot of the local fliers - you need these to bring the food down to a reasonable price.

Okay, the food was good at the new place.The wait for food was kinda long and crazy.We came in with a party of 6.Three Kids and three adults.We waited for about 25 minutes for our food.Three orders were right, 3 were wrong.My 8 year old son was super bummed waiting and watching the other 2 kids get to eat while he was hungry and waiting for over 20 more minutes for his taco and our orders to get fixed.Finally,they came and I asked a guy who was with our waitress for another taco only with extra cheese this time.He was sure to tell me they charge extra for extra cheese.I responded "thats cool as long as my order is right this time" With a big thumbs up/smile and all, trying to be as polite as possible. I mean seriously, you screw up half an order and make a fuss over extra cheese on one taco.I never even complained though.I continued to be patient and wait for my second taco with extra cheese.Then 20 minutes more after ordering Desert, then at least 20 minutes more to get the check ."Veni vidi vici" My 8 year old son said himself that he missed the old Cazuelas, when the service was quick and they had fried ice cream.This was our first time at the new place. Please step your game up, guys.

Used to love going here. The new location is a nice place with a bar and large patio. Unfortunately, it seems to be a small restaurant trying to operate in a space thats too big for what it can handle. I went on Friday evening and put our name in for four people. We went to the bar and got a margarita pitcher to drink while we were waiting. There was only one bartender, and she was very clearly overwhelmed with all of the table orders that were coming in on top of the customers who were ordering there. There absolutely shouldve at least been a bar back to clean up because it was messy and sticky everywhere. Furthermore, the hostess was overwhelmed and didnt seem to be keeping a coherent list. After 40 minutes, I went to ask how many tables were ahead of us. After conferring with a server who happened to be standing there, she asked if we wanted to sit inside. I had already specifically asked for a table outside, and it appeared that she had either skipped over us or crossed out our name without giving us a table. After that, we just left. I hope they can get through their growing pains to get back to where they once were.

So, I may be biased. I worked here May 2013-March 2016. I love this place! Affordable, and so damn good (Margs and food!). I never got sick of the food even though I ate here 5 times/week for three years lol. My best advice is DONT just be unadventurous and get the stuff catered to American tastes. Go for the Mexican style tacos! My favorites are the Texas margarita on the rocks w salt (has a shot of Gran gala, basically the exact same thing as Gran Marnier) and anything with carnitas. Also, happy hour deals are great. Half off apps and a couple bucks off jumbo margs 2-6pm AND 10pm-11pm every day, even weekends! I have seen complaints about service...if your service isnt great, theyre probably just understaffed. It is hard to predict Ohio weather! Many times we got screwed because it would unexpectedly be 60 degrees in January or February and people would want to sit on the patio. The patio more than doubles the amount of tables the servers have to cover. So just be patient, theyre trying their best! :)

First time ive ever dealed with this place and door dash. Well if i could rate 0 i would. After waiting three hours for my food to be delivered by door dash, when my order finally arrived it was not complete. Half my order was missing and no drinks were delivered. The food was only 80 degrees. When i called the manager he lied to me about what was told to the driver (i was on the phone when the druver picked my order up so i heard everything) and then went on to blame me for ordering at bad times. After waiting 3 hrs. Spending 50 bucks on crap, and receiving a incomplete, unhealthily cold meal i spent another 30 bucks and went else where. I only ordered out because i worked late and did not have time to cook. Crazy bad experience. I would not reccommend that place getting any business. I was basically delivered salmonela in platter for. Shame on you Cazuelas.

Had a big to-go order for our business...upon entering, I noticed the place looked dingy and dirty and a member of the wait-staff was eating while servicing their lone dine-in customer. After returning to my place of business with the order, I noticed the entrees were indistinguishable from one another...take-out cartons filled with Mexi-mess slop. The salad I ordered in particular was not even with the order...Of the food that was eaten (most was discarded), every sentiment provided by the people that ordered from here was that the food was horrible...except one - she enjoyed her tub of food. I am not even bothering to go back and rectify this garbage as I wouldnt want to disturb the help as they are probably too busy stuffing their face in front of another unlucky customer to care about customer service or quality food.
