I dont like writing these sorts of reveiws. I never know what sort of star rating to give. The food was fantastic. Our waiter was attentive and kind. The owner of the establishment seems to be a fake, money grubbing person. We have visited this establishment on two occasions. Once when we arrived in town for vacation and once last night. The first visit was pleasant enough. The food, again, was fantastic. Our waitress, on that occasion was very outgoing and sweet. She joked and talked with us. It is worth noting they were much slower on the first visit. On both visits we had the feeling that the owner was far too involved in our meal and in our business. It is the feeling you get when being followed. We let that go the first time because of the food and the waitress. We came back. The second visit they were quite busy. We were seated timely after a reasonable wait. However, as soon as we placed our order of ice, here came the hawk manager to see why. We drink our own drinks in restaurants. The restauraunts rarely, if ever, have anything we will drink. It does not mean we are cheap. It does not mean we do not tip. He gave us some BS song and dance about how much ice and washing cups costs and said he was going to charge us for one drink. Now we are in his establishment, we must abide by his rules or we must leave. And so we agree. We eat. We spend upwards of $100.00. We leave a 20% tip...minus the cost of the drink and a note about the lack of business prowess shown. The man chased us into the parking lot to tell us we didnt have to pay it in the first place. What?! Look The deal is this Mr. Family Business Owner. There is a Lovely little Place called Mango Sun that we have visited nearly every day of our three week vacation here. We drop $40 plus at least a 20% tip every trip. Wanna know why. They greet us every time with a smile. They bring us our ice and tell us how happy they are to see us again. That is how you run a business. That is how you generate return customers. Not hawking them, trying to turn over tables, trying to grub an extra $2.50 out of them. That cup of ice cost you return customers. You may want to rethink your policy. Just saying that satisfaction is worth much more than the cost of ice sir. :)

Visited this place after hearing it was purchased by the sons of the owners of Mannys. I spent many summers eating Mannys pizza and was excited to see what the next generation had to offer. We (family of four) sat inside which was a little noisy, but not too bad. We ordered the Big Kahuna Pizza as an appetizer to see if it was similar to Mannys. It wasnt exactly the same, but it was fantastic! The rest of our meal was good (fried fish, surf & turf, & kids grilled cheese), though the Wasabi Grouper was a little heavy on the sesame seeds. My main complaint is the house "salad" we received with our meals. It was basically shredded ice burg lettuce- like you would find on a sub. It wasnt enough to totally tank our meal, but the texture was totally weird and if I had known I would have gone with fries instead. The strange thing is- the garnish on my dinner plate was comprised of chopped tomatoes and a spring lettuce mix. Overall I would definitely come back for the pizza and steak but definitely NOT the house salad.

We came for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night. Our waitress was Haley. Who was awesome. I had the beef barley soup with almond crusted grouper that came with a fabulous dipping sauce along with rice and a vegetable medley of squash and zucchini with green beans. My Girlfriend had a greek salad that she really liked and chicken parmesan with spaghetti. The portions were huge. The service was great. All of the wait staff worked together. Any of them that walked by were always willing to help us in anyway. One of the owners (Johnny )who asked how our meals were. We both replied perfect and he emphasized that if they were anything less than perfect he would appreciate us letting him know. So speak up if you want anything. I will definitely return when in the area again. Had a cannoli for dessert. Excellent. Returned for breakfast the next day with same results. Great service and great food.

Living in Flagler Beach area we have many great restaurants to choose from. We very often choose Oceanside to eat at, for the price, service, and menu selection you can not beat Oceanside. Their food is always consistently great as well as the wait staff. Their wait staff works great as a team. If any of the wait staff see you need anything they are there. You never wait for your glass to be refilled. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner and it is always good and well priced. Their drinks and bar staff do a great job also. You have to get the flaming cheese!! Our golden retriever loves going to Oceanside with us as they have a small designated area that is dog friendly. The view right across the street is an awesome view with dinner of just drinks.

Coconut shrimp were good but premade prefrozen. Beach wings, while cooked correctly were coated in an insane amount of salt and inedible. Fish tacos were again cooked well but intensively over salted and ruined overall flavor...could not finish. Greek salad, there was a couple ounces of lettuce and a pound of feta cheese and a pound of salty ham..again too much salt. Wth. Cook obviously has salt he is trying to get rid of or drunk. Do not believe reviews on this place. Such a waste and after nicely voicing our concerns no concessions were made. The waitresses know the food is junk. Pass a thousand times over for one of the other places along the shore.

Food was good, service was excellent. We had lunch and drinks. I wouldnt say the food was great but good for what we were looking for. The lunch menu doesnt have a lot of seafood options on it as compared to the dinner menu which does have more seafood. The lunch menu was your basic sandwich options, salads, etc. I had the gyro which was good my girlfriend had the fish and chips which had a very large portion of fish. Id recommend asking for the horseradish sauce which was very tasty. Oh the deck upstairs doesnt serve food so if your looking to sit outside its a downstairs only deal.

Dined here with my family for brunch when they had the chocolate waffle available, which our wonderful server recommended to us. I had a fish sandwich which was super delicious) and my mother had the chocolate waffle, of which she let me have some. It was the best chocolate waffle Ive ever tried - it was so soft and not obnoxiously sweet, and could totally be eaten by itself. My fish sandwich was great, but I still have dreams about that waffle. The only thing is that the menu is extremely long and can be a bit overwhelming. But that also means that theres something for everyone!
