Just had dinner at the Whip. Got their perch and shrimp. Coleslaw was tasty, mashed potatoes are instant and not very tasty, perch was foul tasting, and shrimp was spoiled. Complained that the fish was undercooked as did the gentleman sitting at the table next to me. They took our food back to the kitchen and refried it. Never had that happen before. The shrimp was unlike any shrimp Ive ever eaten before. Owner refused to remove meal from our check - only took off $2.00. Big deal! Cocktail sauce had been frozen and was cold and congealed when served with the meal. Waitress told me where owner was sitting and I couldnt resist voicing my frustration. She didnt care and felt that the food was perfectly fine. And, this is NOT a mom and pop owned diner although it probably was at one time. It is now owned by a very rude Indian woman and her Indian husband was the cook. What is acceptable for them to eat is very different from what their customers expect. The frozen cocktail sauce tells me they dont throw away food and I honestly wouldnt be surprised if they would reheat and serve my uneaten fish pieces to another customer. All I can say is beware of this place because in addition to the filthy surroundings, you are taking your health into your own hands if you eat in this place. Oh, I wonder what the kitchen looks like if the dining room is so dirty. Maybe the health department should pay them a visit.

I was going to work here, the owner was so disgraceful and judgmental that she didnt even put me on the schedule for 2 weeks, then when I called she told me she decided not to hire me. Im disabled. I am bipolar and have high anxiety, me doing what I was doing was a big step. She had me vacuuming scrubbing un-necessary things. BTW their food is frozen and they nuke it in a microwave. DO NOT GO HERE. You are bound to get sick off their food. Nothing is completely fresh there. If you want somewhere awesome to go to. Go to Lunas Deli and Resturant. Its not that far from the whip

Service was horrible. I work in the restaurant business and I tipped below 20% for the first time ever. My "sirloin-medium" was a chunk of steak cooked well butterflied to make it look bigger. They brought my sons chicken fingers before and served his fries after that. They were out of Coke. We girlfriends food was just ok. Our mozzarella sticks were way over done and the cheese wasnt in them. Took 10 minutes to even get a drink. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Customer service was terrible. Waitress very rude (not one smile) ordered Pepsi it was flat. Apologetically told them we did not want to order there. Waitress through cup in sink and talked about us as we walked out the door loudly so whole restraunt could hear. If I could give it 0 I would. Will never return

Lady the runs the place Rumu I think her name is. Yells at her staff constantly and is rude at all times. They should not have her in place. Very bad for business. Hope things change there or I will not go back. Gave 1 star because of her attitude. Server were great and the food.

Funny that this is listed as a coffee shop, because the coffee is not good. You want to stick to breakfast food here, and just take the good prices for what they are.
