Ive been eating Indian food since 2003, and Ive been going to Indian Delight since at least 2012. I love love love their paneer makhani. More importantly, I appreciate that the people whove worked there for a long time recognize me and give it to me the way I like it: Indian hot. Last night was a little frustrating in that the new girl who took my order asked, "Are you sure? Thats too hot." Despite me saying, "Yes, I get it that way all the time," and the person I was dining with saying, "Shes a pro. She can handle it," my dinner arrived mild. I cant pend $12 on a meal all the time, so, dear newbies -- and Indian restaurants in general: When I can afford to treat myself, please dont disappoint me just because I have fair skin and blonde hair. Thank you! Im still giving ID five stars, and I highly recommend the paneer makhani -- Indian hot.

Major hygiene threat and filthy unregulated and unmonitored eating habits by its customers. The restaurant has a touch of Hyderabad cuisine, which i have heard is really good. Now the part where it all becomes irrelevant; The restaurant allows its customers to not get a fresh plate for refills and literally eat on top of all the food served in the buffet area. The people were eating with their hands and licking their fingers and then touching all the serving spoons. I will give the place a D- on the hygiene and someone from the food safety department should pay them a visit and warn them against a potential outbreak.

I was here with my friends and have ordered a soup first. They took 40 minutes to serve just the soup. Poor service i have ever experienced in my life. Food is said to be indian spicy just for name sake. I was waiting for the food and the phone was just ringing and ringing and ringing and the officials do not even care to answer them. When i asked them for the reason of not answering the calls, they replied that they are busy, with a big laugh, and just rushed from my table. I had a very bad experience here. Even one star is of waste to rate it.

Great food !!! Probably the best Indian food in Cleveland and its way better than the much hyped "Cafe Tandoor" if you consider the cost of food. But they should improve on service and include some more variety in the starters section. Chicken biriyani was good and garlic naans were awesome. But I somehow didnot liked the Coolfi, they should improve the recipe. My overall rating will be 8.5/10. Shall I go back .. Oh yes but probably for lunch, as the neighborhood is a bit sketchy place and might not be safe in the night !!!

i made the unfortunate mistake of hiring them for catering a 100-person event. They were so unprofessional it was unbelievable. They only purchased regular pop (no diet), had PLASTIC utensils, and they didnt have enough of a tablecloth for the buffet line! The manager ended up leaving from the event early, and the wait staff forced my event planner to not only do all of their work but literally clogged the kitchen sink and left it there. I will NEVER eat there again nor would I even CONSIDER them for an event.

I love this place! The food is not overly greasy and the flavor is perfect. I usually order the Chana Masala, Daal Makhani, and Aaloo Gohbi. I primarily do take-out, but I have eaten in the restaurant on one occasion and the service was superb. Like everyone else said, the decor inside is lacking - but the food is not lacking in flavor! Before this place opened, I used to have to drive over 20 minutes to get to India Garden in Lakewood. Not fun. Prices are about $8 for a dish, with plenty leftovers!

Its really exciting to have great Indian food so close to downtown. The prices are typical for an Indian restaurant (entrees are approximately $7 to $12) and the food received my Indian friends approval, which is nearly impossible to do. The decor is quite minimal and a bit dark, but its comfortable and casual. During my last visit, I tried the Chicken Vindaloo and Chana Masala, both of which I would recommend. Its also worth mentioning that the portion sizes are generous, so you plan for leftovers.

Food was really good, we tried paneer tikka masala, chicken tikka masala and daal makhani and it was delicious. We ordered spicy that was a mistake coz it was too spicy but thats what we ordered so not their fault. I would have given them 5 but I gave 4 coz the restroom was not clean, hand dryer not working and no paper towels also. Over all I will go again to eat over there and will recommend it to all who likes Indian food...Enjoy...!!!

We frequently enjoy the lunch buffet at Indian Delight. The food is always fresh and tasty. There is not a HUGE choice of dishes, but all of the dishes served are fantastic. The only downside is that the room is a bit on the stark side and the servers/owner seem a bit uncomfortable dealing with the customers. This could just be something that Im picking up on, and does NOT detract from the great food & great value of this Indian buffet.

Visited the restaurant with my with wife. Very friendly service and very delicious food. My wife is from europe and she enjoyed the authentic homade yogurt that you cant find in the US. We got the neelgiri korma chicken and naan bread mix basket. Price was very reasonable. Only beware if you are not used to Indian food you will be using the resteraunt a lot! If you arent used to spocy food make sure you get yogurt to cool you down!

Went there for dinner and LOVED it. The food tasted so good—so full of flavor and the meat was tender and well-seared. We asked for our spicy to be extra spicy and WHOA they delivered. Yum! The service is incredibly accommodating and helped us with the menu... makes you feel right at home! The owner is very pleasant and checked up on us after the meal. Highly recommended! Some of the best Indian food Ive ever had!

We placed an order through Grub Hub and ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken Biryani (several other reviews had raved about it so I was excited to try it). The tikka masala was alarmingly dry and the chicken Biryani just tasted like a bunch of spicy mush. I really wanted to like this place because I love Indian food and its near my house, but unfortunately I doubt Ill order from there again.

Best Indian food in Cleveland! If you want something truly authentic that doesnt shy away on the spiciness, this place is perfect. Amazing flavor and quality of food. The service was wonderful, also; the chef came out to speak to us after and ask us how everything was, and the waiter was lovely. Highly recommend the palak paneer, especially, and the madras lamb!

I had their buffet. And although it is good, I had much better in Indian Garden in Lakewood and other place in Middleburg Hts. Food here is much spicier but less flavorful that Indian food is know for. Again though, this has been my only visit to this place and this opinion is based on that visit only.

Worst Food ! Disgusting taste , no sorry what I am saying , tasteless. We ordered "Karahi Paneer" it was too much watery and we requested spicy so just laal mirch was there nothing else. Paneer was even not tasty and "Paneer Pakora" i would rather eat regular bhajji from a street vendor.
