I have eaten here many times and love it. China Bay is a small restaurant with about 5 or 6 tables. Not very fancy inside, but it is clean and well lite. The owner/operaters are a very nice very friendly hard working chinese husband and wife. The husband cooks while the wife takes the orders. They do have around 2 other cooks helping. The food has always been fresh and delicious. In fact there has only been one other place that I would say had better chinese and thats saying alot. (The other place closed years ago so I cant eat there anymore). IMHO China Bay has the best Chinese dishs in the Cleveland area. Prices are cheap. 5.00-6.00 for lunch. around 7.00 for dinner. But I dont come here for the pricies. I come because everything tastes great. I love the Garlic chicken, boneless bbq ribs, Crab Rangoon, Orange chicken, Sesame Chicken, General Tsos and Bourbon Chicken. The Bourbon Chicken was on the sweet side. So theres that warning. Like many Chinese places they tone down the heat on thier spicy dishes. So if you like your szechwan hot hot you should tell them that. They will prepare your dishes with special requests. The only disappointment for me was the Kung Po chicken. It wasnt hot enough for my tastes I always have to request to make it extra hot. The sweet and sour chicken is good but it is typical of most chinese restaraunts. Good but not really outstanding. I still get it it is good. Just saying its what nearly every chinese takeout place has. But trust me nearly everything else is outstanding. All in all though this is a great restaurant. You will enjoy the food if you like chinese food. China Bay is outstanding for taste and price. Athmosphere is non-descript and small but clean and well lite.

I love this place. I have never had an issue. Everyone at work orders and theres never been a problem. I think they changed their recipe for the egg rolls, so they are not quite as good as before, but overall, great food , quick service. Friendly people. As for other reviews. I have never found them to be rude. maybe her oriental accent sounded like rudeness or maybe it was a language barrier. John stole your wallet? I dont suppose anyone else could have come along and taken it. They are honest people. A bit Pricey? How can you beat their prices. They are the lowest around. $10 for a meal that you will probably have for dinner today and lunch tomorrow? Pricy? Really? No, I dont work there, but Ive eaten there at least once a week for the past 3 years and am always pleased.

I have eaten Chinese food for over 40 years in many different places across the country and throughout Cleveland, this is one of the freshest of places! However... The food here isnt bad, but I ordered extra spicy General Tsos Chicken... and received NO spiciness whatsoever in the General Tsos at all.. which there should be some. The fried rice that came with it, ironically was bland. On the plus side, the food was fresh and the pre-made breaded chicken tasted fresh as well. The egg roll was super fresh, with green leaves visible in the cabbage... a rarity for most restaurants that usually purchase pre-made

I tried this restaurant based on a good review from Carter M. ("The Truth Teller") . He was right in recommending this restaurant. From the pleasant young man who took my order over the phone (who ended up being my delivery person as well) to the food, it was one of my best delivery experiences. The food arrived hot, it was packaged well, and it tasted great. We will definitely be ordering from China Bay again.

Horrible place!! Do NOT trust! had food delivered an the old guy john stole my wallet that I had laying on my front porch! Yes stupid to leave it outside but left for a split second as he pulled in an it was gone as he delivered our food!! Just scum!! Anytime u order an they mess it up they never fix the meal either! THIEVES!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. Zeros stars for this place but I have to rate for review

Never thought Id be giving a bad review on this place. But Im 35 weeks pregnant and I got the worst food poisoning Ive ever gotten in my entire life.... my mother did as well as my fiance. I ordered the spare rib tips, my mom ordered fried chicken with fries and my fiance had orange chicken. All completely different dishes all ended with food poisoning. I cant trust it again.

-always quick and delicious -best steamed dumplings/sauce -soups are yummy! - even liked the tofu vegetable kind, when i usually get wonton. -great portions -all chicken combos ive tried have been super good (love the egg fried rice, too!) -szcehuan is especiallly great for spice lovers -they dont mess your order up (& i order here a lot obviously) order here. do it.

The Chinese owner is super rude & called me multiple names because she messed up my order after I spent almost 30 dollars there. She also, cussed out my 63 year old mother & made her cry a separate time when she was rushing, and gave my mother the complete wrong order & gave her a hard time to switch it out for the correct order.

Just got our food from this place and its very disappointing. Theres pretty much no chicken just breading in their chicken dishes with cheap tasting sauce and my egg drop soup is a gross dark yellow color and tastes like they burnt it somehow. Dont know how this place has so many stars, china star on Fulton parkway is better.

wanted delivery of only wonton soup & white rice because me & my family are all sick, and wound up ordering alot more off thier well designed website menu. we received so much food, and all of it was delicious... definitely glad i found them, i wont have to cook all weekend & be able to focus on getting better! :0)

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! I have ordered from here many times since it has opened and I am never disappointed. The people who work there are nice and friendly, too. The service is quick and the food is amazing- better than what I have had in fancy, sit-down restaurants. Enjoy it! PS- try the crab rangoon!

Awful, horrible if you are thinking of eating here go get professional help. If you do eat here seek medical help. On a serious note over salted on some dishes genricly bland on others. The rice is the worst rice I have ever had. Please for the sake of capitalism, and to make America great again dont eat here.

Awesome staff , great food , great timing ! I usually order from another Chinese restaurant and get honey chicken. China bay does not have that on their menu but as soon as I asked about it he offered it to me as if it was . Dont waste your time elsewhere with your money China bay is the way to go lol

Great food and great service! I havent had better Chinese food or friendlier service than from China Bay. So glad they opened. This area has never had a lack of Chinese restaurants, it has only lacked good ones. I cant express how refreshing it is to order from this place!

Moved to Parma nine months ago and by luck, found this gem. Well worth any misses in communication. Crab Ragoon is the BEST; large & served with duck sauce. Hunan (spicy) dishes cooked to perfection. Take out dinners are large enough for two meals. NEVER had a bad meal.
