The food was great. The service was terrible. We were packing and wanted to get some food before our flight so we placed an order for delivery 1 and a half hours ago. They are a five to seven minute drive from our friends hotel. After waiting 43 minutes I called to see where our order was. I was told it was an hour wait. After explaining that we placed our order nearly an hour ago and we have to leave to catch a plane, I was told 8 more minutes. So they either forgot our order until I called or just dont care about online or delivery orders. When they arrived 12 minutes later the first thing the delivery man said was: tip here, sign here. I told him I have been waiting for am hour for my food. I am not tipping your restaurant. He retorts with you know I only work for tips in an angry tone. I said no, Ive worked food service for 5 years. And my husband still does (he is also a delivery driver) on hour for 3 items is unacceptable. Im not tipping you. Knowing he was caught in a lie he said okay okay in an angry tone and snatched away my reciept. I hope he doesnt try to add a tip on there since I called to close my card. This is nuts. The food isnt worth the aggravating attitude and theither poor service. Cant even eat the food on the way to the airport since no utensils of any kind were included.

We ordered in a huge order (about 11 entrees and 10 egg rolls) for pickup under the name Josh. We get there and the guy at the register had no idea what order was ours, even when we told him the name Josh. We then said we ordered 10 egg rolls and it was like a light bulb went on in his head and he was able to find our order. Our order was ready and he called us by the name "10 egg rolls". When we finally got home we realized we were missing our 10 egg rolls, even though they remembered us to begin with for the 10 egg rolls. We called back and the guy over the phone was real nice and said no problem, hell deliver them to us. Then we get a call back around 2 minutes later from another guy saying they put the egg rolls in and they cant deliver. After we insist we didnt get them, he then said, "OK, I guess we can deliver them." The food overall was kind of bland. The chicken fried rice that I asked if they could make spicy, wasnt spicy. When we finally got the egg rolls, they actually werent that bad.

To begin I would likey to note that i spent 15 years in food service. From dish washer to management and everything in between. I ordered take out. 1. General Tso chicken. It was ok. 2. Pepper steak. It was ok. 3. Beef lo mein. When I opened it I smelled an odor similar to cat pee. My daughter ordered it and when she tasted it she made this face like what is this. Lomein is her fav. She didnt touch it again. Than my wife tried a piece of the beef and gagged. So I decided to return it and get a refund. When I got back to the restaurant (after a six mile drive) I was told they dont do returns. I was very upset. He didnt seem to care, and insisted I choose something else on the menu. I didnt want anything else, I wanted my $9 back. After several minutes of arguing with the manager I begrudgingly settled on 6 eggrolls. I figured you cant mess up frozen eggrolls. I will never go back!!! I highly UN recommend Taste of China!!! I have never posted a negative post on a restaurant until now.

Terrible food!!! I never ever write these reviews and the food here was so bad that I couldnt help but warn others. We had it delviered for lunch and the price was average and the delivery was very quick. I had a wonton soup, it was flavor less, greasy and literally tasted like soapy dishwater. I had to spit it out after the first bite. The eggrolls were hard on the bottom as if they had been sitting for a long time, had barely any filling and were flavorless. The beef from the beef and broccoli tasted uncooked and over cooked at the same time, it was chewy and disgusting. The rice was clearly old and had a stale taste to it. My husband had the combo fried rice and it smelled like old fish when we opened the box. We at only a bite or two of each and threw the whole thing away. Do not order from here!!!

Ordered a late night dinner from here and it was not at all what I expected. The orange chicken was bland even though I asked for extra spicey. I asked them to include certain condiments and chopsticks and there were neither. Im used to orange chicken being a crispy brown with alot of sauce this chicken was pale with seemingly no breading at all and there was barely a tablespoon of sauce in the container. The delivery driver was rude, late, and called me at least 4 times because he couldnt find the house and spoke barely any english to understand my directions. Once again my search for good chinese food in this area is an epic failure. I will NEVER order from here again and neither should you.

Visiting from NY, 6th time here but first time trying Taste Of China. It is small and not easy to find as it is in from the main road and cant be seen from it. Ratings were a mix but decided to try. Food is great! Those who say tasteless and need more salt probably eat out a lot, since we find a lot of restaurants have salty food (to encourage lots of drinks, where the mark-up is HUGE). We tend to avoid salty, inexpensive joints and chains so this Chinese was just right. Both our families, with my kids who love good food, enjoyed every bit of it. Not too expensive too. (hey, were from NY, we want good food at good price!)

When these other reviews say tasteless...they dont mean just bland. First the delivery was half an hour later than they said they would be. Then we get this meal that looks like the equivalent of a Long John Silvers combo meal. Tiny shrimp with too much fried coating - fish sticks - and what was supposed to be a meal with green and red peppers and pineapple ..well there were two pieces of pineapple and two tiny little pieces of green and red pepper. And to boot, it really didnt taste like anything. To be fair we had steamed dumplings that were good. But $12.95 for a meal as ridiculous as that - not worth it.

Ordered delivery, when the food arrived the driver demanded a 10 percent delivery fee and that is not listed on the menu or advised when I placed my order. The food quality was very poor. Rubbery chicken. There was a black hair in my velvet shrimp. The vegetable lo mein was overly sweet and none of the rice tasted fresh and was mushy so it leads me to believe it had been sitting on a steam table for awhile. There menu states no refunds so I should have known why! I would give this place zero stars if I could.
