A pretty decent place. This restaurant requires a kind of an overhaul in terms of interiors. Food can be much better - the biggest worry was that it didnt look freshly made at all. At one point we felt like we were eating leftovers. One thing I liked was the options for vegetarians. Desserts were good too. But overall, it did not live up to the rating it has (maybe it did in the past). Food: It is a buffet only restaurant but priced very competitively. We tried a lot of things (thats the best thing about a buffet that you can take only as much as you want and you can try multiple things in small portions). Appetizers were good - mainly Veg Pakoda, Onion Rings and Samosa. Samosa was good even on its own - though a little more oily. In the main course - we tried Bhatura, Naan, Paneer Sag, Navratna Korma, Daal, Pav-Bhaji and Veg Biryani. While the breads were okay, the curries were a big let down. Surprisingly, Paneer Sag was very sweet - we felt like it was a Gujarati version of a Punjabi curry. Navratna Korma was actually good. However, Veg Biryani was nowhere close to the actual Biryani. It would have been a Pulav, at best. The biggest disappointment (coming from Mumbai) was Pav-Bhaji. Bhaji was surprisingly blood red - but not spicy at all. The taste was weird and I didnt go beyond the first bite. I am not sure what they did there but surely it didnt work. Pav was okay. The only thing that cheered up from the entire menu was desserts. We tried Gulab Jamun, Mango fruit custard, and Kheer. All the three rocked! But overall, they need to change their chefs. The varieties are great but the food quality is just not good. Ambiance: Pretty dark and congested. I am not sure what the wall that separates two seating areas doing out there. The seats were torn and didnt look good at all. Big thumbs down for ambiance. Staff: This was a good part. The lady there was helpful. People are friendly, although serious faces. There was a minimal interaction, so not too much to say here. But overall, I didnt find any concern there. Overall, not a good food. Indian restaurants have been a big disappointment in the US, in general, with very few serving quality food. This restaurant is one of them.

This restaurant is one of the worst indian cuisine places that I have been in the past 2 years. The management tried and failed to make up for their bad service and bad food quality with a large variety of dishes about which they mentioned more than once during our one time experience. The management thinks how to please their american customers and compare them with indians and insult their own country rather than try their level best to provide good or at least edible food. The management is mostly indian which is expected and some of the waiters are not good at english which is not was not a problem for me because I can speak hindi well enough. When I asked a waiter at the buffet if he could refill an empty dish he asked me to eat another dish with an answer- " yeh itna hi hai. Refill nahi karenge" ( this is wat is left. We wont refill ). When I complained to the person who looked liked their manager he started stereotyping indians and complains that all indians are always fussy about a particular dish even when they have a large variety. Then he gave me a 3$ dicount for not able to provide that dish and told me " I dont want to be mad at you and dont want to make you mad " Bottom line - quality cannot be compensated with variety and bad behavior.

Well! Heres a restaurant that gleams of variety in its buffet and looks really good. However, customer service in a restaurant is not really about how the food and the interior of the place look on the surface but about how you treat your customers when they are being respectful to you. When someone asks you if a bin can be refilled in a buffet and you dont have anything left, you say sorry but I there isnt anything left to refill the bin and not if there is no veg biryani, eat chicken biryani. It shows utter disrespect towards the choices of your customers. And when someone complains to the management about such irresponsible answers, saying indians are always fussy about refilling promotes biased behavior and shows the lack of respect towards someone who has been nothing but polite to you. The people running this restaurant need to learn some people skills and know how to treat and talk to your customers or it wont be long before this restaurant starts losing them.

This is the second time I have been to this place. I was very disappointed with the service but gave the place a benefit of doubt as I got there towards their closing time. The servers were rude and have no sense of customer care! I went for a second time today- the dinner buffet is atrocious. I have lived in UK and US and am Indian by origin with keen interest in cooking. My 12 year old can cook better Indian!! The food was laden with excessive color. The papads were soggy! There was water leaking on to the chair where we were seated. Despite all the tables being vacant, no attempt made to move us away. This is my worst experience of all restaurants in my life..... Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone (even my enemies- figuratively speaking). Eat and go there at your own peril!!! Hated this place. Wish I could give it negative stars (cannot post the review without selecting a star)......

I discovered this place last year and Ive been enjoying it ever since. While I dont have much basis for comparison when it comes to Indian cuisine itself (only had it while I lived in L.A.), I do know that the food is very flavorful, fresh and always good. This is a nice little place, its clean, the staff are friendly and the price is excellent. I recommend it if youve never had Indian food before and you want to try it. Dont be shy, ask them what it is youre putting on your plate or just give it a whirl. Update: 03/02/16 Ive eaten at a Indian places around Cincinnati and New Krishna is still the best. They have generous and succulent chunks of chicken in the curry and all of thei chicken dishes. They dont skimp on ingredients. Everything is flavored in a manner that you know they care about quality and the food they make.

The only reason I ever visit this restaurant is simply for a change or I am in the mood for average food with bad treatment. When you walk into this restaurant youll get a very cold welcome by some guy who probably gets paid a dollar by the hour. I have hardly ever seen smiles or a hearty welcome from any of the staff/owners. I would also concur with another users review about being handed over plates, literally - and yes it was the bald scumbag again. I have seen and experienced that most customers from the Asian sub continent are taken for granted. The food is ok, not exceptional and the ambiance is good. Thats probably the saving grace. There are much better Indian restaurants around. New Krishna folks - if you ever read this - get a life and start respecting your customers.

New Krisha India has been my favorite Indian Buffet in Cincinnati, since its opening. They serve a large menu full of the tastiest Indian dishes 7 days a week, with a special buffet every weekend too. This restaurant has catered to some of the largest Indian festivals, weddings, graduations, and much more in town...plus is packed for lunch nearly everyday during office hours too. It was part of Cincinnatis Kiss 107 FMs Town of the Week in Sharonville, and the radio host never had Indian food until he came here with me. He loved every single dish. The owner of this restaurant is an awesome dude too, so I suggest you all to try this wonderful restaurant, You will not be disappointed at all... Great for non vegetarians and vegetarians...the best ethnic Indian food in town...
