Service was terrible. Waited 30 minutes just to order drinks. Asked for appetizer of chicken nachos. Cold chips, with unmelted shredded cheese, no salsa or sour cream (had to ask for it per the waiter). Asked for silverware when he brought out the nachos only to wait 20 minutes (and another reminder as he walked past). Food order didnt get entered in so 2 hours total before we were served. To make matters worse they didnt even get my wifes order right. Asked for asparagus and got onion rings. Got the check, no discount, not even a sincere apology. Asked to speak with Management and was told they were using their busboy and dishwasher to wait tables but would throw in a piece of dessert for our trouble - and to hurry back in to see them again. Really? Never again.

My husband and I went on our first date over 20 years ago here. We loved it. But tonights experience made us decide to not ever go back. My husbands and daughters steaks were burnt. The baked potatoes were so hard you could have broken a window with it. Our waitress was new. She had no idea how to work their new phone order system very well. When we complained to the manager she was rude and could really care less. We use to refer our friends and family there. No more. Not worth the drive any more.

The 200 year old building is great! Ive learned the in and outs of eating and hosting at The Florentine Restaurant.Ive met many new friends, Thanks for the great friends. Though the Florentine may be old, there is never an old day in her, the Thanksgiving and Christmas Seasons are upon the Florentine come visit and enjoy the Festival Seasons! Make your reservation for Christmas now before she is too full. Thanks for allowing me step into a great place for a little while.

Total quaint, cute, historic place. Sweet potato casserole was awesome. Chicken montery and battered Orange roughy were both fresh and great. "Homemade green beans" were from a can. They added onions and some cubed meat, so... unimpressed, there. Some aspects a bit "cafeteria like" like the vinyl tablecloths. it totally lost the authenticity of the old victorian feel.

The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. From time to time the service is average, but overall we have had great experiences. On two occasions we have taken guests to the restaurant and both times our friends really enjoyed it! They also have reasonable draft prices. Overall it is a nice place-- Give it a try!

This review is for the owner. Why are you not there on a Saturday night. We left after 30 minutes of not being able to get waited on, so did 2 other tables. There were 2 servers, no bar tender and a hostess that could not even answer the phone. Not the employees fault, its all on you.
