Great coffee and wine selection. Four stars instead of 5 because I compare everything to Collective Espresso. This place is probably the coffee shop that appeals to more as they offer flavoring and a great espresso drinks. Maybe I shouldnt compare this place to Collective Espresso the more I think about it. Awakenings is a slightly different market. Awakenings offers drinks, greeting cards, wine, wine tastings, and maybe a cheese plate. I know they used to do a cheese plate, not sure if they still do. Awakenings and 1215 Are very similar in their offerings. The great think about Awakenings is every time Im in there I feel like Im in a small town. Not only is the staff friendly so are the clients. Changing it to a 5.

Theres no arguing its a nice little place but it bothers me that they are only open until 9pm and even saying that late is probably a lie. If you walk in any time after 8:30pm they will only sell you drip or iced coffee (no wine, no espresso, nada). I understand the process of closing down can be tedious but its a bit deceiving to potential customers when you close early as it is. Also a bit stuffy.

I go here almost every night. The staff is wonderful! The live music on Friday and Saturday nights is just the right speed. I am not a wine drinker, but I have it on good authority that their wine selection is excellent. The staff and always willing to make solid recommendations on what to order. Great place overall. Highly recommended!

Awakenings is almost a daily stop for me, love the staff and the regulars. Ive made friends, played music, and closed many deals at this great little coffee and wine shop. I highly recommend it. Yes they have wifi. Im sure Ill see you there. PS. Love the new 360 degree inside view you have!

Horrible. Walked in to a glaring barista who literally checked his watch only to look at me and go....."Jesus Christ." You werent even closed or closing! I looked at my fiancé and we left. This isnt Jeff Rubys, its a coffee house! Never coming back again!!! Rude!

I love Awakenings but their information is all wrong. I drove from Toledo to enjoy some time here but they promptly turned me back around when I walked through their doors. Closing time online and on their door is wrong. Wouldnt have made the trip otherwise.

A little off the beaten path (I-71 corridor), but a very enjoyable coffee (and wine bar) alternative to the big dog coffeehouse chains. Nice selection of baked goods, too, and prices are reasonable.
