I usually love meijers selection and prices and enjoy shopping there. This morning I had a horrible shopping experience. Your weekly ad had phenomenal deals and I filled my shopping cart with dozens of items. When I went to self checkout every single item rang up wrong. Finally after 20 minutes the cashier was very unhelpful. I had to ask for the manager to get her to correct the price for 45 items. Out of 45 items only 3 rang up with the correct sale price. An hour shopping trip turned into a two hour shoppping trip and the manager provided no remedy for my hour delay. I question whether I will shop at meijer again if even the store manager didnt think this was a major error on the stores part. Went shopping there this evening around 930 or so. Got my groceries (a cart full) got to the registers not 1 was open. Only you scans. So got the pop. Left the other 60.00 in the cart and left. Really turns you off when 8 people are standing between the front desk and the registers and not one running a regular register. Guess they dont mind paying someone to return all the food from the dairy and meat departments as well as many isles in the store. Only would have taken any one of those 8 people at most 5 minutes to ring me out. Took me 10 minutes to do the pop myself as it was. I guess Kroger has me spoiled. I am about done with Meijer, to drive 20 minutes one way to shop just to wait on myself at them scanners that dont ring things up correctly and stop everytime you breath on them. I refuse to do it.

Alright. Only reason Im giving this a bad review is because the older guy with the beard working there was terrible. I think hes a manager there. He didnt say anything he just walked up to the front of the line and glared at me until I assumed correctly that was my que to realize he was ready to take my order. He didnt say a word to me the entire time. Thankfully I wasnt a customer who didnt know how you order your sub. Jackass. I understand being older and still working at a subway in Meijers probably sucks, but good god. Treat people with respect and communicate.

I love this new location that replaced the seedy brice rd store. Great sale prices and i dont have to lug around a shoppers card to get sale prices. Many of their regular prices beat the sale prices of Giant eagle and kroger.The employees are friendly! I was greeted by ten employees while shopping there. I used the self checkout and an employee bagged my items! I havent had an store employee bag my items at a self checkout before. This is by far the best grocery store i have ever been to and they have 100% of my business.

Dont even try to call this store! The computer answering recording cant understand what you ask, they dont give you the correct department, and while on hold for someone I turned on my computer for the correct telephone info. I needed to find out if they sold gluten free cake mixes. After 15 minutes on hold I gave up and drove down the street . It was quicker. Thats a sad operation. I never got to talk to anyone! Oh by the way I typed this while on hold and I type slow. Ron Case

Terrible store. Place is always deserted. No one is nice or friendly.. not many good sales either and ehn there is the stock is always in the backroom. Never on the shelf. Very hard to get employees to help if needed. Mperks never ring out right and have to spend time in customer service. Managers stand at customer service and complain about the employees. How about you get out there and help them out. Dont think many people work there.

Good place to shop independently but of you need help with anything, the staffing is not there. Not at the bakery, not when you need help getting oversize items. The staff is friendly enough but no one knows what to do. I always hear " let me get someone for you " and then you can wait and wait for help.

Meijer consistently has everything I want at affordable prices. The store is always clean and has good app coupons. This location is conveniently located. This particular trip was for creamer, but I also found $1 off jars of Jif peanut butter! There is always something I need that has a lower sale price.

The absolute pits. Extreme shelf clearing that leaves their store empty and in shambles for the normal people who just come in for great sale prices. Obviously the grocery manager needs a lesson in ordering and inventory. It has become an absolute waste of time so Kroger gets their money now.

I like Meijer because they carry things I cant get at the Kroger by my house. The only problem I had is they quit carrying Parkay squeeze butter in the blue bottle. They carry the Cracker Barrel cheese.that Kroger no longer carries and I can pick up other items at competitive prices.

Have gotten expired, moldy, and generally poor food (produce, meat, bakery, and bread type food) on more than one occasionally. The employees do not care, and the overall experience is one of indifference. I expect more than that, this is not Walmart after all.

I love this store, but they need to take a look at who they hire. Once needed to try on clothes at about 8 or 9 PM and some girl named Megan got an attitude about me needing a fitting room and said she was going to stand outside the whole time and wait for me...

I love this Meijer. Mostly because its so close to my house. But also, the atmosphere is nice, I like the selection a lot, the produce is usually great, and their sales and clearance items are pretty good too. Just an all around 5 stars for me. Its my go-to.

They lose a star because their fruit and vegetables seem to always be old. Other than that, I love this place and they hire special needs which more stores need to do. They are normal people too and can work just like the rest of us.

A lot of electric motor scooters available a good meat section and produce. They have a great lawn and garden dept nice layout sales and the only one open that I know of. They have good seasonal stick ecoupons and discounts.

Always love Meijer! Great place to meet all your shopping needs. Groceries, great selection & fresh produce. Clothing, toys, household items galore! Prices a little higher than some places but does have good sales.
