I wanted to send a little note to whoever is in charge to let you know how wonderful my experience in my local Panera was. I found out a couple months ago that my father was diagnosed with throat cancer. Though he fought a good fight, I found out today, October 5th, 2012 that he is not doing very well. He doesn’t know where he is at this point and they think he won’t be with us much longer. I went to lunch at the Panera on Gulf to Bay and US 19 in Clearwater Florida. When I walked in, the entire restaurant was beautifully decorated for breast cancer awareness month. Seeing “Cancer” everywhere kind of choked me up, however, and had the girl at the register looking at me like I was crazy. I apologized to her and explained that I had just found out that my father was indeed dying from cancer, and I began to tear up. Not the girl at my register, but the girl at the next register beside us came around the counter to me with napkins for my tears and a hug for my soul. I cleared the tears long enough to find out her name was Pam. Pam stood there with me for a few minutes just hugging me, letting me know that people do still care. I don’t know that it is protocol for your employees to do something as touching and genuine as this and if not it makes it that much more touching. People working with the public, as I also do, all too often hear only bad comments and remarks from customers… No one really ever takes the time to tell the bosses and the employees themselves when a good job is done or when a truly remarkable act of humanity occurs and touches someone as Pam did me. Just a hug from a stranger made me feel so much better. I thanked herI hope this reaches the right people and Pam gets some kind of recognition for being such a wonderful person. She has the qualities any company should relish and use to their advantage. Many, many people could learn from Pam. Thank you Panera for having such a great employee! I will be a long time customer!

They should tell you at the register when they are out of stuff. This is the third time I have gone in and ordered a Turkey bacon bravo and they were out of the tomato basil bread, that is THE only reason I even order that sandwich. Also I ordered two bowls of soup and they were out of the french begets that go with them. I dont want to dip chips or apples in my soup. Just let me know before I pay $40 for food and you dont have anything that goes with it! Also its really unprofessional for the employees to complain about customers in front of other customers. I was waiting on my incomplete order, while the cashier came over to talk to the girl making the food and proceeded to complain about a lady before me getting upset that they were out of everything. She was using profane language about the lady, all in ear shot of me...another annoyed customer. Will never go back to this store, probably the franchise itself.

Not impressed. Panera has Poor, Over priced food. I tried this for the first time today because my wife eats here sometimes,so I got half a turkey sandwich bravo and a cup of soup for over $11... They got my order wrong first, so I had to drive back to correct the issue, not a big deal but still an inconvenience. Then once i actually started eating I was underwhelmed by the quality and taste. I got a grocery store quality sandwich and soup at a restaurant price. I dont understand these trendy spots that sell poor food for huge amounts of money and how are they always so busy. Throw your money away here if you want to, but if Im going to over pay on food I want it to be worth it.

Their catering team is out-of-this-world amazing and some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced. I had a last minute catering crisis and needed an online order canceled and sent to another Panera store in Tampa (AFTER it was supposed to be picked up) and they handled it all for me with speed and grace! When someone helps you out in a pickle and goes above and beyond to fix a problem that wasnt their fault in the first place, theyve got a customer for LIFE! Thank you Andrea and Jasmina!

Today was my first time eating at any Panera Bread and I will say that the staff was polite, and it was a clean environment for the most part. There was no one out cleaning tables so we had to clean our own table and I ordered chicken noodle soup. I literally had no chicken in the bowl of chicken noodle soup. I had a few carrots and few noodles, I will give credit where credits due and the broth was very tasty. I felt like it was a waste though because I left as hungry as when I went in.

I have been there for about 5 times and I think that is quite enough to share me experience there: + Great bakery stuff + Friendly cashiers + Great variety of food to suggest + Clean + Very cosy and great place for nice breakfast or lunch + Fast service - Self service to do a drink you want (as for me I prefer ready one when I pay for it) - I ordered chips with my pasta and sandwich, but chips were not in my to go bag.Found out already at home

I would recommend that everybody needs to try ONE of Panera Breads (Cafe)Restaurants. I have been to many & I have never been disappointed, on their Staff Service, Food Choices nor the way Ive seen their places be so clean& kept up. You can tell this Company takes pride in what they have to offer to their Customers.
