Our group of nine came for brunch. Brunch is only offered on the weekend. Everything not only tasted good, but looked good, too. I ordered "crab and eggs," which were two thin crab cakes with two eggs. I ordered my eggs over easy. You should too. The crab cakes had a fresh, vibrant taste as did the aioli that was on the side of potatoes. My wifes "abc" (apples, bacon, and cheddar omelette) was good. I think it would have been better with a sharper cheddar than the white that they used. The restaurant has a chic farmhouse style, complete with Mason jar lights, white wash wood, and tin on the ceiling. It was a bit loud, however. Check out the whats behind the glass for their bakery items. I didnt see them until I was leaving and fully regret that. That will be the first thing I do upon return.

Our new favorite lunch place! Exceptional Service and incredible food! We shared their Butternut squash salad -WOW! & The two dip appetizer with plantain chips (so yummy!) & He had the grilled chicken BLT, and I had the Fajita wrap. Both were incredibly good! For dessert we had the most incredible layer chocolate cake made at their in House bakery Casual dining with a warm inviting atmosphere and Attentive and interested service . Well definitely be back soon.

We eat here all the time, either to go or dining in. We first started going to their Rocky River location Sweet Melissa and now we work not far from the Avon Lake location, Cafe Melissa. I can always get something different. They have good gluten free options too, but today Im getting the burger and fries because its awesome. Its great and the prices are great and its locally owned, what more could we want?

I had my first experience at Café Melissa last week. It was amazing. Their key lime tart is the best key lime dessert I have ever had - and Ive eaten key lime pie from all over the south! The ingredients were very fresh. Everything was delicious. The service was great, as was the atmosphere. Im a BIG fan... and cannot wait to come back!

A nice small restaurant thats the sister restaurant to the bigger Sweet Melissas in Rocky River. It has a cozy atmosphere but the same great food youve come to expect. Portions are just right and I love coming here for brunch. Some great takes on breakfast favorites and always friendly service. Great dessert too of you have any room left.

Hard alcohol & mixed drinks also available. Theres always something new to try with the special & soup. To-Go window for easy pick up. Locally owned & managed. Whats not to love?

Great food, great portions, great beer selection. Only complaint i have is that the facility is too small. Tables are really close and packed tight, can actually be uncomfortably close to other tables. There is another sister store Sweet Melissas (same menu) only about 15 minutes away in Rocky River that we prefer to go to.

A real cute little place for a quiet lunch. Spent a lovely time with my wife and service was very good. Dishes were funky and fresh. We split a piece of cake - be ready it was huge. Coffee, salads an appetizer and soup were under $40. Very reasonable for this atmosphere and menu.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for an early dinner date. And let me tell you, the food here is amazing. Make sure you get the BBQ Chicken Nachos, they are so so good. The burger was delicious and my girlfriend loved the steak tacos. I definitely recommend eating here

The food is excellent. But this place is way too under staffed, the resteraunt is packed and theres only one server. It took over 8 minutes to sit us down then 20 to even ask for drinks
