The true test of a good buffet restaurant will be how fresh the food is about an hour to an hour and a half from close. We arrived approximately an hour from close. The greeter asks... "you can finish in 45 minutes right?" Secretly I was giving this man a middle finger, but we brushed it off and sat down. It wasnt busy - just a few tables. I started off with the "spicy potatoes" and some craw fish. The spicy potatoes were absolutely the worst thing Ive ever had in any restaurant all of my life. Not fit for human consumption whatsoever. The craw fish were lukewarm and unimpressive. I then had some hot and sour soup. The okra they put in it ruined the taste for me.. It didnt taste like hot and sour soup, it tasted like okra soup. I then had some angel hair Asian noodles with peanut chicken and butter chicken. The noodles were not fresh, and crusty on the edges - translation... Sitting out for hours. The chicken was alright but cooked very long ago. Ill spare you the rest of the details but it was simply not fresh food. They had given up on it long ago. We complained to the anemic looking gentleman when we left and his excuse was "well, it is close to closing time". Hey pal, dont feed people this garbage. Youre going to get someone sick. Absolutely horrible buffet and I urge people not to eat here, especially near closing time.

I went to Super Buffet on the 18th of November, 2009 and had a horrible experience. The food was bland, flavorless and lukewarm (at best.) None of the items I sampled were worth the trip or the money. The General Tsos Chicken was flavorless and lacked ANY kind of kick. The teriyaki chicken skewers were extremely fatty. The peanut chicken, what little of it I ate, had chunks of gristle and tendon attached. And, on top of that, the unsweetened iced tea I had tasted like water. If it hadnt come in a clear glass, I would have thought I had been served water rather than the tea I asked for. Being a trained chef with over 12 years of restaurant experience, I know that restaurants can have their "off" days. This, however, was more than an "off" day to me. However... I decided to give them another shot eight days later, on Thanksgiving. Sadly, that trip was not much better. While chewing on a piece of peanut chicken, I bit down on a chunk of bone. While nibbling on a piece of honey chicken, I bit down on a BIG chunk of gristle and the teriyaki chicken was composed of about 50% fat. I can not, in any kind of good conscience, recommend "Super" Buffet. Their selection is better than some, but the selection at Grand Buffet on 32nd puts Super Buffet to shame - and I have yet to have any complaints when dining at Grand Buffet.

Took my family here to eat tonight, the food wasnt all that great, was only luke warm the egg rolls were burnt and the chicken was so hard it was ridiculous. Now my bill was pretty close to 100 dollars, I understand that its a buffet. Dont have a problem with the bill being that much for 6 people not to bad, what was bad was that even though we left a tip on the table the cashier took a 20% tip off my credit card with out my knowledge, I signed for a 93 dollar bill got home only to see my bank statement was 112. Now I know its only like 18 bucks and some change but its not about the money its about the principle and the fact that I did not sign a receipt for 122 but for 93. I was charged for a to go box for my kids who couldnt eat all their food. Again not a big deal but a big deal when you take money from my account without my knowledge. They will either give me my money back or I will press charges for credit card fraud ... End of story !!!

Just got done eating here. We have ate here for years and have enjoyed it but today a different story. There were 7 in our party, 3 adults and 4 children under 6 years old. The food was marginal, nothing special today to be over charges for. When my husband told me our bill was $95 I was astonished. I called the restaurant and to make a long story short they carded $11.99 for children and $17.99 for adults, normally the price for children us $6.99 but today because its fathers day we get charged double. The manager only offered to credit us for 3 pops which are included with the buffet. This will be our last visit to this restaurant. By the way when the manager was going to seat us he wanted to know how many in our party and we replied 3 adults and 4 children under 6. He yelled at us to we give him the ages of all the children. I am very appalled by the customer service that we received. I told them to just keep their 5.43 for the soda.

The best buffet in Fargo - without any doubt. I wouldnt say the service is great all the time -but who cares about service in a buffet anyways?Wide ranges of food -and decent collection of desserts. They also have the Mongolian grill and Sushi and Salad bar. Personally I love all the items -but the butter fry shrimp is just one of kind. You should also try the coconut shrimp,Surimi dish, the Chinese vegetables, fried wonton, sweet and sour chicken and many more. We almost go there every week - but I guess the best time to go would be on weekends at around 7.30 PM. Will cost you around $30 for two on weekends and $24 for two on weekdays at dinner. Totally worth every penny.Highly recommend it.

I ate at this restaurant on 9-26-15 and I woke up to my account bring charged $371! Yes you read that right, $371 for a $31 meal. I came straight here at 11am and was told there was nothing that could be done because there wasnt anyone at work who could fix it. Henry (the boss) was called and he said he would not come to work until noon. I expressed to the staff that I still have to go to work. I waited from 11:03am until 12:10 pm for Henry to get to work to rectify this issue. As I am writing this message my money still has not been refunded and it is 12:37pm. I would not recommend this restaurant to ANYONE! If you do decide to eat here, the food isnt good either. Ill never come back.

The food was not that great. It tasted kind of old. Even the meat at the Mongolian Grill tasted funky. The sushi meat tasted funky. The only food that was fresh were the oranges, apples, and cucumbers. My husband had the sushi and had chicken from the Mongolian Grill. Later that evening, he got food poisoning and was throwing up throughout the night. The wait staff were nice. The owner, or the man were assuming is the owner since he was the only non-asian working the place, was rude, grumpy, and you could tell he didnt really care to hear what we had to say about the food even if it wouldve been good. We dont recommend it at all. We wont be going there again.
