It pains me to have to rate this one star. Olive garden has always been one of my favorite restaurants of all time.ever since I was a kid Everytime we went to Fargo (Im from Fergus,) and it was the kids turn to pick where to eat believe it or not it wasnt Chuckie cheese ( well it showbiz pizza back then) we always picked olive garden there endless salad and bread sticks by far hands down the best Ive ever had and it was the only restaurant still to this day that I always ordered something different every time and never once had a complain or didnt like it. Sadly enough untill today. My husbands never eaten there before so Ive been wanting to so badly take him there for a date night finally today I got that chance I was so excited he loves Italian food just as much as I do it was about 3 when we got there which was perfect time because hardly anyone was there because usually its at least 10min wait around supper time . The waitress was super awesome really nice . Were on a budget so we decided to get the pick your own tour to Italy and share it. We picked the chicken parmesan the baconand cheese stuffed tortilini in Alfredo sauce and the classic fetticene Alfredo the salad and bread sticks came first thing salad thank God was awesome as always the bread sticks horrible they were hard and cold. But whatever I can live with that then came the food first of the portions were tiny we got four pieces of the bacon tortilini which was awesome again. Thank God at least something was the chicken parmesan was the small piece of chicken Ive ever seen like four bits prob I didnt get a chance to try it it was literally covered in ripe tomatoes and sauce you couldnt even see the chicken and thats always been one of my top favorite dishes my husband took one bite and spit it out he said was horrible I was still eating salad lol yumm so then he went on to the fetticene he split it in half left my half one the plate two bites In to it and back out it came noodles were rock hard hardly any sauce done with my salad I went to take a bite of the chicken parmesan and thats when I saw it 2 pieces of hair in the noodle under my piece of chicken yuck thats the worst so they took off our food brought us a big portion of the tortilini for free we just had to pay for our drinks which was nice of them but it wont fix the experience my husband had for the first time I felt so bad I ve been bragging it for the last couple years and when he finally got to go it was the worst restaurant experience ive weve ever had he hated it he said hell never go back again what a shame Im sad

I dont really want to state of why Im giving it a star it doesnt even deserve a star... not really impress with the host we had she was going to put us in part of a area with "families" nothing against family but every time we gone we been put by families or large groups and its just hard to hear one another and then i asked nicely if theres a booth and she was all bitchy about it giving me dirty looks its like really... our server we had was eh okay had very good memory but didnt even come by and pick up the money or anything (we dont leave our tab laying around bc we dont trust anyone n etc) and we pushed the call button and nothing and this other server seen us and looked over so we said we didnt want to leave our tab and something happens to it that sorta thing which she understood our view n too its like what happen if we needed change back.

My brother and I planned for our family meal to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary. They suggested we come at 2pm so we were able to get the attention we needed for a group of sixteen people. We had one waitress who kept up with all our demands. My husband and I are vegan. She was able to help us with our selection of a penne, veggie, and kids marinara. It came with a salad with a substitution of oil and balsamic vinegar for the dressing (that contains eggs). Breadsticks without the butter never arrived, but I was happy with the overall service for such a large group. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the privacy of our own little corner.

The food was ok The drinks sucked. (Got a piña colada & a margarita) & the waiters...even worse. We were understanding of the wait time because they are short in staff but when our waiter finally came he just stood in front of us like we were bothering him and stared at us. We were like umm ok, hi....?... And then he asks "you guys gonna get anything to drink?" Like ok hi how are you thanks for joining us ? " Nothing. Never going back. Weve been to other olive gardens out of state and they are amazing. This is a let down.

My husband and I were at the Olive Garden Saturday. My husband order some food and Alex came to us to tell us that there were not more muscles for my husband food and ask him what he wanted. About 5 mins later Alex came back and told us that he told the manager what was going on . Then the Store manager came over and said that he was sorry for what happen and told my husband that they can get his food for him and the Store manager was great and also Alex. That was best time we had at place to eat.

Provides a unique "family" atmosphere (whether or not its authentic is beside the point) with interesting textures and decorations scattered throughout the establishment. The food is tasty and plentiful (dont eat too much salad) and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy the pastas, and who can forget the salad and breadsticks which come included with most entrees! A great place for the family or a date night. I always look forward to going there.

Been going here for years, always ask for Alfredo sauce with my breadsticks to go(NEVER BEEN CHARGED) today they tell me its 3.49 for a tiny bowl of alfredo. Are you kidding me?? Also Brother inlaw got good poisoning from the chicken Alfredo, he called and asked to speak to manger because he was ill, they tell him theyll call him back. Call was never returned. Wow this place has lost a customer for good

Edible food if you quickly want to eat something, but do not feel like Mc Donalds. Staff are friendly, helpful and organised, almost "motorized. Fordism comes to mind. As the case with all franchise restaurants, the food has a unique underlying taste. Everything eventually tastes the same. Took me several Excel gums and a drive from Fargo to Pembina, to get the "Olive Garden" out of my mouth.
