Super disappointed. This was my first time going to this restaurant. My friends and I went on a Sunday for lunch knowing that it would be crowded. We were told that we would have a table in 10 or 15 minutes when they could get one cleaned off. But because there is no actual hostess someone other than the first guy we talked to gave it to another party who had just arrived. So we ended up waiting for 45 minutes for a table inside (because it was cold that day and we didn’t want to sit outside) only to get a table outside where we had to wait another 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. While the food was good it got cold super fast because we were outside and while we were offered blankets, they only gave us some after our food arrived at which point we had been outside for almost 2 hours and were freezing. They also forgot my side that came with my order and gave me regular tea as my refill when I was drinking sweet tea, (huge difference). Of the 3 staff members we dealt with 2 were super nice, but why was there no hostess or number system for seating? The management there must be non-existent. They should have giving us something for free just for having to wait so dang long on everything not to mention getting my order and drink wrong. Seriously Silo service is ridiculously bad.

Worst Restaurant Experience Ever Great location and menu is very enticing. I was excited to try this especially since I was going with a group of friends that I had not seen in awhile. Ordered brie appetizer waitress forgot to put in order. Ordered Cabernet wine and they were out. Brie still didnt come then waitress said they ran out an hour ago. Ordered French Dip which was good but cold. I wanted cousins cousins as my side and they were out so I ordered their pasta salad only to have waitress return stating "they were out". Had a side salad which was good. Overall very frustrating experience. Requested to seeanger 3 times only to have her come out and throw a gift card for one appetizer at us (we were a group of 6 individual ladies) and then argue they were out of things because they prepare their food fresh. This still should not have impacted Brie and wine. Obviously, very poor management as this was a Saturday night and restaurant was empty. Wait staff complained constantly that everyone there was working a double. My water glass sat empty forever.....I gave them 1 star because I had to. Great idea and location food would be good if they had any. Dont go here!

Pretty awful experience. My fiancé and son went here once last summer and had a great experience. So with today being our day off and with the weather being beautiful, I suggested we come back. Service was slow. Took 10 minutes to be greeted, then another 15 minutes waiting for a mimosa. When we finally ordered, it took 30 minutes just for the waitress to come out and say they had run out of chicken for my fiancées Southerner panini. Out. Of. Chicken. When the food eventually came, my sons macaroni and cheese was cold, my bada bing panini was dry and oddly sweet and the pasta salad was questionably chunky. I work in the industry and they were steady but certainly not slammed. We asked to speak to a manager twice to no avail. Were never going back and I wouldnt recommend this establishment to anyone. Its really a shame because the space is quite lovely and quaint.

Went there 2/12/17 with my wife and son and was told 30 minutes after ordering that they were out of chicken for my southerner. 5 minutes after choosing an alternative sandwich our food came out. Mine was ok. My sons M&C was cold he didnt eat it and my wifes sandwich was so dry she couldnt eat it. They comped us for my wifes sandwich but not the M&C for some reason. The waitress kept saying she was getting the manager but we just got tired of waiting. We will not be returning. If you go I suggest you do so when they arent busy because they cant handle being busy.

I am a HUGE fan of Silos as it is a definitely gym in the Wake Forest University area. The food is delicious, fresh, and there are tasty options for those of us with dietary restrictions. The wine list here is also amazing and pairs wonderfully with the food selection. The patio area is also delightful and cozy, especially during the spring and fall months. Although the service can be hit or miss, it has never stopped me from wanting to dine here. I highly recommend to those looking for a delicious and healthy option!

Most disappointing dinner we ever had. Our waiter confused our appetizer and neglected to admit to it. Then 1.5 hours later we had to ask her where our main course was to which she replied with our checks. I had to go hand her our checks and then she didnt even return to give them back but rather another waiter brought them back. Never got checked on. Never got our meal. No apologies were given. Such a shame because we were really excited for this dinner.

No idea what has happened to this place. The location is great but the food and service is just awful. This is not our first bad experience here but we put it down to a bad night the first time, inexperienced waiter the second time but our last visit was the worst. Shame, I would love to be able to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance of Reynolda Gardens but this is not the place to do it.

The menu has good variety and reasonable prices, and well prepared. They have some special sandwiches such as brie, green apple and figs. They have alcohol. The outdoor patio is nice in good weather. Indoor seating is limited. Suggest call ahead if you have a group more than 6, especially for indoor seating.

Came here with my family on Salem College Family Weekend. Attentive waitress, but the food took a long time for just being a fancy sandwich. The food was really good. I would come back again.

The food is tasty and the outdoor space is great. Maybe a tad expensive for what you ultimately get, but well definitely be going again!

Liking their new Sunday brunch items. Also really like the old school subway tiles in the bar, as well as the outdoor seating options.

The food was pretty good but we had to wait almost an hour just to get some sandwiches. Nice menu but definitely not worth the wait.

I love this place, but the food is consistently inconsistent. The service, however, is always spot on.
