Went here yesterday for lunch. I usually hesitate going to buffets because the etiquette of other patrons are far less than desirable. This time I saw two kids at the buffet picking up food, putting it back and cutting in front of lines. I saw an employee walk over to them, pull them aside and ask where there parents were and escorted them back to their table. Im glad they finally stood up to disrespectful families like this. They no longer have plates and silverware available to grab on your own eliminating kids rummaging through them with their hands. Thank you Golden Corral for finally enforcing proper etiquette at the buffet.

The chicken was too salty, the shrimp wasnt properly cleaned (still had dark line down the back on most pieces), the establishment overall was overcrowded, and there was a person walking around blowing up balloons in these tight quarters and over eating patrons. REALLY??????? So now we have salty or half-cleaned food, unorganized seating and cluster-f**k at the serving line, and lastly ( and more importantly) all these kids playing with 4 & 5 foot ballons at the next table over (that is only 3 feet away). So, NO the experience was not enjoyable at all.

Salad bar had food spilled all over, picked up 5 bowls to get a clean one. Several plates brought out by server was dirty. Ribs were undercooked had blood in them. Rolls were hard. Yams marshmallow top was burnt black. Mashed potatoes had hard black lump in them, could tell it was from bad potato. Overall most of the food looked old and dried out, was terrible experience. Complained only to be ignored. Will not go there again.

Well...just got back from there....all the choices i had...terrible!!!....tasted like common garbage hospital food....prime rib...and chicken...undercooked.... Dessert was a small piece of cake...very dry and crumbly...corn on cob was overcooked to mush....i complained to a manager...he gave me a discount ticket next time i came in...his name was Elmer..but anyhow..i can see why the other location closed its doors!!!

Ate there tonight (9/22/16)around 5:30 pm. Had to stop at every rest stop and gas station on the way home to Boone to use the bathroom. Something was terribly WRONG with the food. Bad, bad SHARP abdominal pains and diarrhea! We made it home around 9:00! Should not have taken that long to get home but all the stops slowed us down and its STILL not done! Wont be stopping there to eat again! UGH!!!

So Charlene Robertson hates it every time she goes there. Place is dirty ,the food is not good, and the other patrons stink. I assure you Charlene I dont stink. Yet she will continue to eat there. Im not convinced she hates it ! I will pray you dont go back. ( scroll down to read her review )

The strangest Golden Corral that I have been to thus far! Unlike other GCs they do not have a place to get plates & utensils so my guest and I had to take them from other tables! Food options are slim & the place is very small. I wont be back.

I absolutely love all you can eat ribs. And you have the best yeast rolls. The only problem I ever run into at this place is that they have difficulty keeping the fresh lettuce filled. Its so fresh that it disappears quickly

The flow of customers appeared to be managed well. The servers were polite and came by often. The place was clean and the food was good. Lots of variety. If you like southern hospitality youll appreciate this restaurant.

The yams taste bitter and the stake had mostly fat on it it was chewy. Asparagus had a soapy taste to it like the pain was not rinsed out all the way.Other than that the food was doable. The Waitress was great.

This place is much better than the one in Wake Forest we go to. They have much more food here, and the food tastes better. I would definetely reccomend this place for anyone. They have all types of food!
