This place is always busy, but the food is good. However, I was very disappointed with their service on my last visit. There were five of us in our family. After waiting a while to be seated, the hostess took us to our table, we wanted the dinner buffet and she took our drink order. By the time we sat down at the table, a group of people came to our table and said that they were already seated there... Hmmm. The hostess asked us to move to a different table and seated us there. Before we could get comfortable, the manager asked us to move because they needed the table for another large group of people. Ok, we complied (again). They moved us to another table and we got settled. We got our food from the buffet and we started eating and talking to each other. In the middle of our meal, the manager came to our table with two other workers and "told us" that we would have to move again... WHAT???... Before we knew it, they started to pick up the table to join it with another table for a larger and different group of people to be seated. In protest, I said, "This is not right, weve been moved 3 times!!!" The manager simply said, "Dont worry, we need your table!" The manager and staff seemed more concerned about getting as many people through the doors as possible, rather than making sure their customers are satisfied. I was thoroughly upset, especially since my elderly parents were with us and they had to be moved so many times. Ive never seen a restaurant staff move people from one table to the next while the people were in the middle of their meal!!! Bad service, bad attitude, and bad experience!!!

3.8 almost 4 Stars?? Chow time.. which anyone would think with a name like this its time to chow down. Only if you are in a hurry. Never heard of a fast food buffet, a buffet is supposed to be a place where you can sit with friends and eat all you can eat. This place is the opposite. Worst experience ever, that plaza is better off placing another McDonalds there and that speaks volumes. As soon as we were called to sit at a table, a waitress came over to send my smaller party back in line since our party was not "big" enough. Who does that? Silly me though trying to give this place a chance. Never again. A place that does not like to service is not a good place to eat. Theres more to this 3.8/5 (mediocre) "buffet" with luke warm food. A "big" enough party (right after they paid) were pointed to the door because the table they were using was needed. Dont you love to get kicked out of a buffet/restaurant once you finish paying?... The way it was handled was so fast and rude I dont even think they had time to sign their receipts to complete payment. All I know is that I will never eat at this place again. Now you can learn from my mistake or learn the hard way. Trust me spend your money on a place that actually cares about customer service. The food they serve you can make at home, it probably will taste better too.

Absolute worst place i have ever been to in my life. The manager and host was a complete jerk. We were a huge group but all showing at different times he refused to give those showing earlier our complete table he said as we come in hell add our tables. We ended up scatered all over the restaurant he also refused the waitresses to serve us cause we were unhappy about not being close to our family. He also said if we ate anything he wouldnt charge us for the food and call the police to say we stole food, he was mad we werent even sitting at our table because we were standing around our families tables talking and catching up because it was 10yrs since our last reunion and he couldnt sit us together cause he kept screaming at us for showing seperately it was all our fault. He ruined our entire night. Ever tried to get 12 ppl from 5 different families and locations to show at the same time??? Complete jerks, inhumane, CONPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL. Family restaurant? Definitely not. Good food? The worst buffet Ive ever seen and Ive traveled the world you couldnt even pay me to go back there. PLEASE NOTE I AM BEING HONEST HERE, IVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED SUCH DISPLEASURE IN MY LIFE CHOWS IS THE WORLDS WORST RESTAURANT

The food was fine but the service was straight up bad. Ive been a waiter and theres no excuse to not visit a table it the place is dead, there isnt one of the place is packed. I had to get up and find someone for everything from drinks to the check, while 2 waiters just leaned up against a table ignoring my friend and I. The best part was the guy who I had to actually go find enable to get the check actually asked me if I was leaving a tip for my server who seemed blown away when I said "What waiter? Ive gone and found a different person every time we needed something." Keep in mind the place was almost empty, with at least 5 people sitting around the little room where the register is, immediately to the right as you walk to where they seat you. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but Im good and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Food is great! Staff not so much. Ive been at Chow Time twice and theres a lot of variety and nice decor but on my last visit it was hard to enjoy any of that because of my waitress. It was a weekday so the restaurant wasnt busy but despite that my waitress decided to stand at the table and ease drop on me and my cousins conversation. She stood right at our table just watching us. It was awkward and uncomfortable. We wanted to grab more food but our waitress gave us our check, which was unasked for, then stood there until we finally had enough and left. Barely left any tip because that was unacceptable and unnecessary . She was silently telling us to leave even though we were only there for 1 hr and 20 min. If you want me to leave just say it but dont make me feel awkward. I will make sure to report the next incident to a manager.

Very disappointed. I had seen the billboard that they were going to open soon. I saw this a little while ago on University Dr. Some gentleman who has cero customer service just answered my call. I was calling to get prices and to see if I needed to make reservations. First he told me with an accent that he was not able to hear me and to call back. He proceeded to hang up the phone on me. I called multiple times and he did not answer again. After the fourth call same gentleman who was not so gentle answered and with a sarcastic tone of voice repeated he is not able to hear me again. He proceeded to hang up the phone on me again. This happened on Mothers Day, at approximately 1820 hours. The last 4 of my cell is 3163. I am sure they have caller ID. If a manager wishes to call me and make this right, I am open to listening.

My friend took me here and it was great. I went back a couple of times and the food is great and fresh! One thing I noticed is there isnt really a wide selection of sushi as I would expect a japanese/asian buffet to have. There is also a lot of american food like pizza, cheese sticks, fried chicken etc. The habachi and other food is amazing. The worst thing there.... is the service. As soon as I walked in I would just get stared down by all the employees, some even stand and watch people eat which is weird. But the worst of all... is they ask for tips. I was so shocked when our waitress asked my friend and i oh tip? tip tip tip?. It totally killed the mood especially when all the waitresses do is bring you a drink and a check. They dont even ask to see how youre doing. Other than that the food is great.
