When the waitress, Dana, came to take our order, we ordered the All-American or something similar. I had asked if I could substitute hash browns for the waffle, she said sure. When our food arrived, I had no grits and a waffle. When she came back, I asked if my grits were substituted for the hash browns, she said yes. I stated that I wanted the grits, not the waffle. At that point she stated there was no substitution allowed on that special....(yes, the grits were substituted, which made no sense). She stated she could add grits to my bill. This waitress acted very miserable, never smiled. If you arent a people person, dont work with the public! Oh and my sausage was dry and the hash browns only had 1 piece of cheese for a triple order so I had to pay even more for another slice of cheese!

Best Waffle House Ive ever been to. Over the years I would sporadically go to waffle house for cheap breakfast food. This location had changed my take on the restaurant. I go here once or twice a week now, usually after work around 12-2 am. The food is great, not 100% consistent but never poor. If there ever is an issue, the cooks will fix it for you quick. The staff here just seems to be held to a higher standard than the waffle houses I remember over the years. Its no Olive Garden, but for quick food and generally friendly folk this location has been awesome.

Came in took 10mins to get my table cleaned we ordered, 30 mins later the coach comes over and apologizes for the wait and said someone would be with me to take my order once again, so a few minutes later our order was taken once again 2nd time at this point im getting irritated, all for the coach and another waiter to come over to take my order once again 3rd time i just told them to forget it ill go somewhere else soo 45 min wait for just to be served drinks

Waitress was really polite and patience. Very clean and greeting when Walgree walked in the restaurant.food was served in a reasonable amount of time.had to wait on third dish for as long as5 minutes or more:( !!! Had to wait for the entree to be able to eat dinner together.!!!! But when served the waitress was very apologetic and ask if we needed anything else.Erica did a exceptional job!!!!

Best short order diner in Wilmington! Friendly staff, clean spacious bathrooms suitable for handicapped access. Good road access and parking. Comparing diners to diners, not diners to "upscale dining", this is the nicest place in town. If you hate diners, you might be a little impressed, but probably not.

This place is so so for this location. It would be better if the employees were kinder, more patient with the customers and showed a bit more empathy, no matter the situation. You can catch more bees with honey rather than with vinegar, as the saying goes.

This is one of the worst waffle houses I been to. The cant even cook a stake and egg meal. And they had to many people work in there and I dont recommend anyone to go there. But our services ladie was very sweet and nice her name is Erica

The waitress seemed to not care.. didnt greet es just ask what we wanted to drink... wasnt adequate condiments... didnt even ask if we wanted desert...and we did... wasnt finished and she already had the bill...

Finally a waffle house cook that knows how to make an egg over easy. Service could have been better. The overall experience would have been much better if they had not tried on the awful music.

Worse waffle house Ive ever been too . Management needs training . Service mostly sucks , a few in there are trying to do good but they cant do it all. The weak ones pull it all down.

T Just your ordinary waffle house, just know that they do have a rowdy crowd once in a while late at night on the weekends. So just know, but there are security guards.
