I visited this establishment on Friday, June 10. In town for a girls weekend, my friends and I, all UNCW alumnae, thought it would be fun to check out some of the places we frequented when we were younger. I was horrified to witness the most obvious, flippant, and disgusting display of racism at this bar. As we were exiting, a group of African American women were standing outside. They asked if we had purchased a membership prior to entering. The answer was no, we had not. We had not completed any paperwork or paid any sort of fee that could even be remotely construed as obtaining a membership. We answered these ladies with a "no." Apparently the young man at the door had told them that this establishment was for members only, and that a membership could only be obtained on weekdays during business hours. While there may have been a legitimate reason for not admitting this group of ladies, a lack of membership obviously was not one of them. It was exceedingly clear, in my opinion, that this group of ladies was not admitted because of the color of their skin. I asked to speak to the manager because certainly this was not the impression that any business would want to give. The young man at the door was extremely rude and arrogant and clearly overestimated his importance. I honestly believe that he was proud of his behavior. Needless to say, no manager was produced. The display that I witnessed was appalling. It left me feeling as if I were in a time warp; before the Civil Rights movement, and surely before anyone and everyone could use the internet to review a business. I understand that this establishment may be "private," but I believe by "private" they must mean racist. Absolutely unacceptable.

If I could give an establish negative stars I would - I watched a girl get beaten by a very large man here while the 3 bouncers did NOTHING. My friend and I were the only ones that seemed to care to even report the crime and call the police. I will NEVER go to this establishment and if you are a woman I would not recommend that you do either because I genuinely feel unsafe after watching 3 grown men watch her get beaten. PROCEED with caution. I WILL be contacting the Better Business Bureau in addition to the claim I already filed with Wilmington PD.

Hands down the best bar and club in Wilmington. Great atmosphere. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond to make sure youre taken care of. 2nd floor is the dance floor with a great DJ and a 360 bar. The 3rd floor is a beautiful sports lounge with many TVs, music, couches and pool tables. They always have the best deals on drinks. Cant go wrong with Goodfellas i will be here again and again!

The bar was great! Two floors, one with a upscale sports bar vibe and another floor that is a dance club. The best of both worlds. Drinks were cheap and the staff was attentive and very personable. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Simply the only spot in the Wilmington / Wrightsville area for dancing. The new location is great.
