We are new to the neighborhood. Was out riding bikes Saturday night when they had some outdoor music we could hear from a couple streets over. Rode over and was standing in the parking lot when some guy came up to us and said "Five dollars" I asked him "WHAT?" what are you talking about, he said its five dollars for the event. I said I didnt bring my wallet and I didnt know it was $5 to stand in the parking lot. He proceeded to send his wife over (obviously because she wears the pants and he couldnt handle himself ) She told me that this is an event and it was $5 if I wanted to stay. I didnt have my wallet with me because we live close and were just riding bikes around the neighboorhood. I also didnt think you had to pay $5 to listen to music in a parking lot, outside..... Heres some business advice. If you want to charge people $5 to stand in your parking lot with outdoor music you should: 1. Put up a sign or two reading "CONCERT $5" or "$5 Dollar cover" 2. Some random dude in a plain T shirt should not walk up to a potential customer and say "Five dollars" That means nothing, it was rude, A better approach would have been introducing yourself, being friendly and explaining that this concert is $5. We left, and will never step foot back in this place. Over priced craft beers and crappy cheese steaks from the place next store. This place wont last long.

We had an engagement party for some friends at Burnt Mill Creek a couple weeks ago and it was a wonderful time. Hunter the owner does a wonderful job with everything and the bar is very classy and clean. We all had a blast and the drinks were delicious. They have a wonderful wine selection as well as some very tasty signature cocktails. I would highly recommend checking out Burnt Mill Creek if your are in Wilmington. They have billiards and nice TVs for those who want to watch sports and a great outdoor deck for when the weather gets warmer. Fantastic place and wonderful time there!

Surprisingly divy, relaxed bar. Not really a wine bar, though they offer half bottles. Ok wine options, great beer options. Full bar. Huge penny top bar. Could be trendy but more laidback. Two pool tables, jukebox, live music area. Sitting areas have a cozy coffee shop vibe. Food trucks sometimes.

We went for the Sunday evening jazz jam and had a great time. It starts early, which is helpful on a Sunday evening. The people are friendly, there is a solid beer lineup, both on tap and cans/bottles, and a decent wine selection in addition to mixed drinks.

Love having this neighborhood bar. Great jazz on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Hunter and Tim make you feel at home and make awesome drinks. Local musician, Benny Hill is now hosting the Sunday night jazz jam.
