This is my first review ever... Wow.... this place Was a mess! Where do I begin, Big "OPEN" sign out front, door was locked, sign posted says use the back door. It was 95 degrees out but instead of piling back into the car seats I take my 3 kids ( 16 months, 4 yrs and 14 years with broken foot) and walk around to the back BAR entrance. Place was Full of flies, syfy channel was on with some zombies & headless corpses, the waitress was nice but I asked if she had a kids menu and she says " we have a kids menu, but know one here to print it, I think theres 3 things on it, grilled cheese and couple other things." I said grilled cheese is fine. She comes back with our drinks and said she found a kids menu but grilled cheese wasnt on there. Settled for apples, cheese stick and yogurt. $4.99. I got brisket with 2 sides for my kids to eat : Mac and cheese and broccoli. My brisket was cold, the broccoli was brown, the Mac n cheese was ok. My daughters apples were browned, she enjoyed the cheese stick and Mac n cheese. Needless to say it was a waste of a family outing and money. I will not be going back and Ill be passing this along to my neighbors.

We have had two takeout meals, one was the pulled pork to make sandwiches and the other was a full rack of ribs, and one sit down meal - both of us had a 1/2 rack of ribs. All of these meals were delicious!! Our server for the sit down meal, Ashunta J., was one of the friendliest and attentive servers we have ever had at any restaurant. She was extremely personable and a delight to have as our server. We highly recommend Mountainview BBQ for a great meal. Also, the amount of food that we got for the side dishes was tremendous - the most food we have ever gotten for a side dish (you get two side dishes with each dinner). We will definitely eat there again!!!

I asked specifically on the phone before leaving, then in Person with an apparent Owner- are the Ribs Country style Ribs? That means heavy meat on a larger bone than St. Louis style that everyone that knows Ribs understands and even Grocery stores identify. They were St. Louis style, meaty and dry, but not even close with what I asked about and expected......additionally very pricey for the portion meat wise not "length wise." 60 miles roundtrip of disappointment.

We highly recommend Mountain View Barbecue! Their food is delicious! We needed a caterer at the spur of the moment and they leaped to help us! Not only was the service "spot on", but the food was exquisite! Mountain View Barbeque will take the​ extra steps to make your catering experience enjoyable and worry free!

This restaurant was a surprise - we discovered it just as we got hungry during a family motorcycle outing... the atmosphere was friendly, the brisket and pulled pork wonderful and the "Moink Balls" (smoked meatballs wrapped in bacon) an unexpected treat...overall excellent, will visit again...

Went for lunch. Food came out fast, but tastes plain even with the sauces added. Fries were good. Real downfall is the whole family ended up with terrible diarrhea.
