The village deli is some of the best food i have ever had. The food always tastes fantastic and there are so many options on the menu. It is priced absolutely amazing for the quality and quantity you are gettting(i even have to pull some of the meat off of my sandwhich because they give you so much) which is organic wholesome food. Everything i have ordered there has been divine. Everything on the menu is creative and has great taste, yet it is real, good, and delicious food. I have never not had enough to eat there. The sandwhiches are pilled high and you have a great selection of food for the sides. I am always full and satisfied when i leave there and i crave it everyday for breakfast lunch and dinner. The workers remember everyones names and it is always clean. The specials are always different and the soups make you want more and more. Everything about the deli is apealing and everyone i have talked to agrees!

Really did not like this place. I have only been here once several years ago, and could not remember why I have not been back. Well, they reminded me. I went here with my two kids and my mother. Their sandwiches are unremarkable and wayyy overpriced. My mother asked for extra mayo, and got none instead. My son got a burger (that was priced over $10 so should have been fantastic for that price)...and it was burnt and had a really off taste. Worst burger I have ever had in my life, seriously. My daughter got the chicken salad sandwich. The chicken salad itself was actually pretty good...but the sandwich was @ 90% bread. Which, by the way, I did not care for the bread options they chose...and the bread was stale on top of all this! Will never return...much better options in WF for every item they offer...

Ive been a regular at the Village Deli in Wake Forest for several years now--2 of my 3 daughters have worked there for 6+ years, so Ive been treated to lots of their menu options. My all time favorite is the California Chicken Salad sandwich. Its their amazing chicken salad with layers of granny Smith apple slices, English walnut halves, and cucumber slices on a ciabatta roll. The sandwich is big, so come hungry! Ive also tried the fried green tomato and pimento BLT, and it was SO good. Im not a fan of sweet potato fries or chili, but theyre both very popular here, so I recommend trying them as well. Additionally, they offer several vegetarian options (which was convenient for my vegetarian daughters who worked there!), including Annas Veggie Pita.

Me and my wife were running errands and we decided to get something to eat. Moes which is right beside this diamond in the rough was not what we thought it was going to be, so we decided to try here. And they did not disappoint, we both got the bacon cheddar burger which is a little pricey at 10.50 but is well worth it. Everything was hot and correct and the staff was very friendly! Im definitely going to come back whenever Im in the area!

The food is standard deli fare, like sandwiches, fries, chips, and cookies, but there are also various burgers (including a garden burger and a black bean burger), key lime pie, various cheesecakes, etc. The sweet potato fries are really tasty, and there is indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are about mid-range - I paid about $10 for a chicken salad sandwich, sweet potato fries, and a drink.

Great place for healthy organic and all natural food. Pay a bit more but you get much better quality of food. Has gluten free breads and great menu. We eat in or take out once in a while. A recent visit update today - staff could use some how to be polite help. Dont expect a friendly greeting at all or even a "what can I get for you" expect a blank stare when approaching the register to order.

I stopped by for Sunday breakfast/brunch because the sign says "open" and "breakfast". Well, guess what? They are not serving breakfast... The young ladys uniform, that was to take my order, was so dirty that it gave me a change of heart about eating there. Not food stains from preparation but what looked like animal hair and lint on her hat, etc. We left and the sign still says breakfast.

Ive only had good experiences at the Village Deli - excellent selection / breads are nice / meats good. Daily Soup specials are yummy too. I like the new organic fries ( both regular and sweet potato) Cant go wrong here - sure its a bit more expensive than your average sub shop but you really feel good about the quality...

For the most part I like Village Deli. Its one of the first places that pops in my mind when its lunch time and Im hungry. Theres been some memorable "misses" over the years, though... completely unsalted fries and undercooked potato salad among them. But its a pretty reliable place for a good meal.

Nice people inside but I think I bought the wrong thing. It was a turkey and brie sandwich with apple butter...I could not taste anything but the apple butter. I will definitely go again but try something else...this was my first time.

Casual dining with a nice atmosphere. Sandwiches are large and the ingredients are high quality. Expect to spend $10 per person for a sandwich, side, and drink.

A bit overpriced, and service was slow for how empty it was, but Ive enjoyed other village deli locations and will probably give them another chance

With a nice sunny environment, convenient location, and a cook that knows how to consistently make a good egg - this is a favorite breakfast spot.

Its not all that. Nothing Ive had has blown me away. Took a little long to get my food and all i ordered was a salad.

Pretty much always good food. Prices are a little on the high side, but when the food is good it is easier to justify.
