I was instantly curious about this place when I moved into the area. I had to try it. My only regret is taking awhile to get there...but once I did! Wow! Ive gone at least once a week since that first visit, and its been a few months! First of all, the atmosphere. Its a fun, hip kind of place. Its decor consists of some pretty quirky, and very fun stuff. (A smiling picture of Ice T on their sweet tea dispenser, for instance, and a serious one for unsweet tea. Ha!) Its full of bright, lively colors, and I love stopping in on my way to work. Its just a great way to start my day. And speaking of stopping in before work! My shift starts kind of early in the morning, so having a place that serves breakfast as early as 6 a.m. is fantastic! Especially when the crew is always smiling, always helpful, warm, and engaging. And whats more, it all feels entirely genuine...and this has been true no matter what day or time I stop in, and no matter how busy they might be. And the food! Oh, the food! Deep. Dish. Apple. Pie. Muffin. Deep dish. Apple pie. Muffin. Seriously?! Divine! And one more thing? I love the program they have for buying an item off the menu for police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and active duty and retired military personnel. You just let them know youd like to buy an item for the board, and theyll and it to your order and give you a sticky-note to write down the item and a note of thanks, if you like. Its beautiful, and as a Navy brat I appreciate the thought behind it so much!

This place is amazing! Weve been here a few times now and have a great experience every time. The staff is very friendly and the selection is awesome! They seem to always be running specials or promotions. Great prices. So far when ever Ive been there the bathrooms and dinning area are always clean and well stocked which is something I take note of when checking out a new restaurant. Great location right next to Bedford very convenient. I will be a coming back again for sure.

i went to Big Apple Bagels to grab a bagel sandwich before work and to pick up a few muffins for some of my coworkers, not only was my favorite sandwich (holy guacamole) the best way to start off my evening but when i got to work the guys loved the muffins so heres to big apple for getting us through a busy night and the service at this location is always awsome keep up the great work

Perfect spot for a delicious breakfast! Their bagels are superb. They also have a case full of delicious looking options for muffins and other baked goods. They advertise fresh fruit smoothies, though when we inquired at the counter, the cashier pulled out a jug from the fridge of pre-made syrup, so not sure what thats about. Lattes and coffee are good here though!

This place blows my mind. I generally dont like bagels, but I cant keep myself out of this shop. Their bagels and cream cheese are fresh and delicious. This morning I gave the kids a rainbow bagel with fruity pebbles on it from Big Apple Bagels. They lost their minds over it. I hate to admit I finished my bagel and made them share theirs it was so good! Incredible!

Ordered for the office I work in and within minutes the food was ready. It was AMAZING!!! The Bagels were absolutely the best I have ever eaten. If anyone is looking for a place for excellent tasting food; this is it!!!! We WILL be ordering again!! Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us.

Bagels are best in town...But one should check any to go order for correctness before leaving...Orders are frequently incorrect with missing quantities or incorrect items....Has happened to many times resulting in driving back or accepting the error...I check in front of them before leaving....

Was in there today for the first time. What was unique to me was that my bagel was soft. I really like this in my sausage, egg and cream cheese sandwich. The coffee was really too. They have two roasts...I had the light. Great place for breakfast, if you are in the Durant Road area of Raleigh.

Very good bagels and high quality ingredients that would give the other big bagel chain in town a run for their money. My only complaint is how can you call yourself a New York bagel shop without lox on the menu? And they close too early on the weekends. The turkey is my favorite here.

Fast friendly professional, what more could you ask for? The staff is very courteous. This is the kind of place where they remember your name after multiple visits. Quality of the bagels is outstanding. Would recommend this place to anybody.

Great bagels and very accommodating. I needed a large number of bagels for an event. They cooked them up fresh in ten minutes! The also had darling holiday cookies that I brought to a party. Great bagels and service. Coffee is good too.

Pretty decent bagels. Prices seemed somewhat high for what was delivered. Skimpy on the egg sandwiches (two thin slices of bacon out of the microwave) and on pretty light on the iced coffee pour.
