My wife is a full-time nursing student and I am at work pretty much most of the day, so we wanted to getaway and stayed a weekend at the Proximity Hotel. I couldnt have picked a better place. I surprised my wife, she had no idea. From the moment we drove into the parking lot, to the time we left it was almost fantasy-like. The check-in was smooth and the service was A+. The rooms are spacious and the king bed was just right. I am a big guy, so most of the hotels I visit may describe or say king bed, but my feet hang off the edge or I feel like I may fall off the side. This was certainly not the case here, I had plenty of room in the bed. The shower is ideal for us plus size persons, I am 62" and I the shower head was not smacking me in the face it was well above my head, maybe a foot or so. The room was so comfortable that we didnt want to leave. Also, bring a couple of DVDs, because the room has a DVD player available. One of the best stays ever!!! When I am in Greensboro, Ill be staying at the Proximity Hotel.

Staff - Curt, unhelpful. Mostly interested in selling restaurant. Comfort - Mediocre. Hotel provides robes that are very rough to the skin. You get two types of pillows. One lumpy, and one fluffybutflat (nice fluff but flattens to almost nothing as soon as you put your head on it). Decor - Faux Loft chic. Nothing remarkable. Furniture shows more wear than I would expect from a room of this price. Other Details - One (1) pack of coffee which will make about one cup of coffee for a room with two people. The shower is glass and *doesnt close*. Hope your significant other doesnt need the loo while youre showering. The head is also pretty low for us taller folk. If you want to go here because its green, more power to you; but there are far better options at this price.

Por mucha ventaja este el mejor hotel de Greensboro. La atención del personal es excelente, el transporte aeropuerto_hotel_aeropuerto es de lo mejor, el lobby es muy acogedor y su gimnasio pequeño pero con todo lo necesario. Si eres de fuera de USA y quieres hacer tus compras en línea y enviarlas aquí, hazlo cuando llegues a tu habitación ahí estarán tus compras.

We booked the date night package for a get away. Truly, an amazing experience. The staff was curteous, the king loft more they we expected and our dining experience at the Bistro was delicious. We will be back. It was pricey but the quality and experience well worth it. The air quality in the hotel is remarkable. I had the best nights sleep Ive had in a long time. If youre looking for a memorable experince of a romantic evening, where you feel like youre being catered to, then check out the packages Proximity has to offer. The King spa suite is in one word, sexy. The mirrored windows open up in the shower/tub area. You just have to see it!

Accommodations were great but front desk staff seems to be confused about whats going on. They need to get it together and thoroughly train their employees. Paid for my sons honeymoon night and bought some extras. Bubble bath was to be presented with a few other things. They arrived in the room but no bubble bath. Not a huge deal until we spoke to staff about it. They were given "body wash" instead and were comped for price of bubble bath. They were also told that proximity doesnt have bubble bath but its one of the extras to purchase. Total Confusion! My son and his new wife should NOT have had to deal with this!

Paid a lot of money to take my wife on one of their date night packages. Although the hotel was clean. We didnt receive our vouchers when we checked in and had to get the restaurant to retrieve them for us. Went too the movie and was supposed to have truffles waiting for us on our return. They didnt arrive until after we got back to our room. The next morning we were supposed to get breakfast in bed but it never came. Disappointed to say the least. Wanted to give my wife a great experience and it turned out to be a so so one.

The Proximity lived up to what I have heard. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Every time I walked through the lobby there was someone to greet you. From front desk to housekeeping, everyone wanted to help. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone. The only weakness is in there TV. The TV was old and outdated. Not easy to use, especially a bad sign when there is a whole page on how to turn it on and actually use it.

Proximity Hotel is amazing. It is a completely green hotel. The owners took the time to put energy and thought into every detail. The environment takes on an inviting and encouraging vibe. Each floor has its own living room with filtered water, ice, printer, laptop, seating area and refreshments. AND the filtered comes in cold, hot and room temperature. The staff are absolutely wonderful! They were all cheerful and helpful.

Wow! This place was great! The hotel is nestled in a business park, but that doesnt take away any of the charm of the hotel. The service was polite, and the views were excellent. I would encourage anyone interested to request the Sustainability Tour. They will tell you what the hotel is doing to improve their "green" standards and show you what is in place to help them achieve a Platinum LEED Certification! Very cool trip!

The Proximity is an awesome hotel, simply put. Theres a really cool industrial theme, thats contrasted with really cozy and quirky furnishings. The staff is prompt and courteous, the food from the attached PrintWorks Bistro is some of the best Ive had, and I really felt right at home while staying there. All in all, this is one of the best hotels Ive had the opportunity to stay at, right up there with the Saint Regis.

Ive been to this hotel many times, even got married here. This particular time was to take pictures for my daughters senior prom. There were a lot of kids from different schools doing the same thing. I thought it was really nice of the Proximity to allow so many people to come in and take photos in their beautiful hotel even though they werent paying guests. Just another reason to love this place.

We had a catered breakfast in one of the meeting rooms and the setup and venue were perfect. The food was delicious and we definitely got our moneys worth. The staff were attentive and friendly. I highly recommend using Proximity as a meeting space or eating at the Bistro (breakfast there is superb). I havent stayed at the actual hotel, although it appears to be very nice and well kept.

Visited the hotel for a business training in the area and I am impressed with cleanliness and relaxing environment of the hotel. Staff truly made me feel special. From the receptionist to the hotel manager, people looked into my eyes to say hello and made sure everyone is comfortable, later found out that hotel was employee owned which explains. Keep it up guys.
