Stopped in today after a very long distance sales call. I saw 25-30 pickup trucks in the parking lot (always a good sign) and figured Id stop in for lunch. The staff were very friendly, & I decided to take advantage of the $6 daily special (sandwich, fries & drink). I went with the "Chuckwagon" loaded with chili, steamed onions, mustard and cheese. Let me just tell you, I was expecting a sloppy disaster of a sandwich, but was pleasantly surprised when I received what I consider to be one of the best made burgers I have ever eaten. The bun was toasted, the chili was contained within the edges of the bun and every bite was better than the last. I was sad to finish it honestly. The fries were also amazingly crispy and so damn good. If I am ever in that general direction, I will absolutely be stopping back through and highly recommend the "Chuckwagon" to anyone passing through!!

Tarheel Bar-B-Q is a very good place to get good country style food. The waitresses are very nice and arrive at your table as soon as possible. The people here are very nice and the food is great. The entire place has a country vibe, and there is a room near the bathrooms with taxidermied animals set up that kids love to look at through the large glass window. During the lunch and dinner hours it can get pretty busy but that just shows how good of a place it is.

The barbecue sandwiches were huge and very good! The barbecue plate with brunswick stew and hush puppies was also very good! We would recommend anyone looking for exceptionally good and very reasonably priced food to give it a try....you will want to come back again!

There ribs on Wednesday are on point. Def a must have if you are in the area and its lunch time. It has room for a couple18 wheelers an it has a tanning and massage parlor next door cant beat that
