I used to love this place. We would come up with any excuse to go and eat there. We have been really loyal to this restaurant and but over the last few years the quality was getting a bit poor. It wasnt all the time at first, just once in a while but then more often and I would have do a to go order like I have many times in the past and it just seems like every is just blah. Like they dont really care about what they are putting out there. It never seems to fresh until they are really business and then they are restocking the stuff that is selling but they mix the old food with the new food!! You arent supposed to do that!!! You are supposed to take the old food out and put the new food in and not mix them. So the reason I am leaving this review is that I had a to go box today (I wasnt able to get there and my son went and picked it up for me). He brought it immediately home (we are @ 5 mins from location) and the food was clearly old, not just cold... The sweet and sour chicken was dried out and hard... The ribs were mushy and disgusting. I could and would feed this to the most desperate person because it made me want to be sick just looking at it. While this used to be a great place to eat and maybe still is as long as you come when they are very busy.... I wouldnt eat there on the off hours....

Reasonable and small buffet at competitive price. Food choices are limited and standard/expected (broc. chicken, rices, pepper steak, fish, shrimp, salads, etc.), but even on this particular slower Saturday evening, the choices were kept hot and fresh. Staff is pleasant, kept all tables clear for guests and beverages filled. I wouldnt go out of the way and make this restaurant a destination choice, but it is convenient and a recommended place for the price as compared to the other overpriced chains in the shopping center. Location: Walmart Shopping Center - Tryon @ 485 in Southwest Charlotte. Comment: To another reviewer that was disappointed that the bill was received in under 30 min after this arrival... its a fixed price buffet. Im confident they didnt ask you to leave, and they probably continued to refill your beverages and take the used plates from your table after the bill was dropped off.

Where do I start ,when me and my friend walked in the lady in the front didnt say anything to us she just stared then the waiter came to seat us then later on I asked a short lady for napkins and she gave me one there is 2 of us like seriously ,then I asked for the check when I got up the waiter followed us to the door then the lady was standing in front of the door like blocking the entrance then later the when I was going to pay the lady from the front said something to the waitress that was standing in front of the door in her laungue which is disrespectful because they speck well enough English and they were talking English when we got there then something that was not in English like I find that rude and I felt it was wrong that the blocked the door like we was going to run out with out paying

Today I had a horrible experience at Dragon Buffet! I found hair in my egg foo young and the waitress tried to make me believe that it was not hair! I know hair when I see it! They still made us pay the bill even though we found the hair right when we sat down and had only taken a bite of our food. The bill came to $16.43 for two drinks, one adult buffet, and one kids buffet. That is how they tried to accommodate us by charging my meal as a kids meal! However, they charged my card for $18.60! I will never go back there again. Anyone who does go there, look at your food closely before you put it in your mouth!!!

We typically go to Lins Buffet, off of WT Harris and wanted to try something different. We chose Dragon since it came highly recommended and we were very disappointed....food wasnt that great...the only flavor I tasted was alot of SALT! We are from NY, love to eat and enjoy flavor in our food and for a buffet this was TERRIBLE. Lins Buffet is much better and cant figure out why people considered this buffet to be the best in Charlotte....

The quality of the food was surprising. Very good food quality for a buffet. The selection may be limited with no hibachi and no sushi bar and only a few gondolas set up for the food buffet. But what you get is great quality food. This would be my go to buffet if I lived in the area. The great part is Clean and Quality. Limited selection is the only bad part but in my opinion the quality of what is out there makes up for that.

Horrible disgusting Chinese buffet I ever ate in my life,u can find a better food in the dumpster.I took my kids for lunch there the food really seem to be really old at least 2 to 7 days old dried out even the ice cream is old so we try to eat what we can eat on the buffet and the very next day all of us got really sick,please avoid this place at all cost.i just called the health inspectors on this restaurant.

I have been in multiple times and the beef is terrible. The sesame chicken is not consistent. Once is was okay and the next time it was horrible. If you want good Chinese DO NOT GO HERE!! I will NOT be returning to Dragon Buffet ever again. GROSS about covers it. Wang and King down the road is 10 times better. Heck, frozen Tai Pei is 10 times better. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I came in close to closing time with a 4 person group. We were seated immediately, and drinks were on the table before we sat down with our food. The service was amazing! An empty plate was never on the table longer than a minute or two. The food was quite tasty. Everything was kept warm. Even the bathrooms were nice. I would definitely recommend Dragon Buffet to anyone and everyone.

Quality of food is better than most buffets, but the selection of dish is small. Atmosphere is clean and neat looking with soft jazz music playing in the background. Waiting service were attentive refilling my beverage often without me needing to ask for more. Overall great experience just wish they had more food choices to offer.

This buffet is small but the food is better than most other buffets in the area. The food is not overtly oily. There usually isnt a wait during lunch time even though its always busy. Great service. No hibachi grill. Not a wide variety of sushi but its very well done. They cook the sushi rice perfectly. Would recommend.

Hated it as one star fits. We came in and sat down for a second before going to look at the food. My wife said nothing looks good. It was late and we decided to try it. The only thing my wife wanted was a banana and we could not even get that. We could have spent our money on ramen and it would have been better spent.
