First let me say that I liked going to the Imperial Buffet. It got shut down, or they shut it down voluntarily, I dont know which is the case. But, this is NOT a traditional Hometown Buffet (the franchise). All they did was add corn on the cob and clam chowder to the menu and are calling it Hometown. This is just the Imperial Buffet with a new name, same waitresss, same food. They also added a sushi bar. There was a couple, who thought this was an actual "Hometown Buffet", who, after being seated, complained that all they had was Chinese food, and were leaving and didnt want charged. They were correct. This is just a Chinese Buffett with an American "Hometown" name.

Im always very nice when I come here. Been coming here for years. I went in today with 2 friends, and my one friend didnt eat. She just got a drink. She didnt even open the dinnerware she was given. The server charged us for her dinner, but she didnt eat. So I went to explain, and the waitress lied and accused us of trying to scam the restaurant, saying she saw my friend eat 2 plates of food. She honestly didnt eat anything. So they charged us and were very rude about it. I am sad to say that that isnt customer service. And I wont be going back.

Careful using your debit as credit cards here. The gentlemen at register argued that they did nothing. Service was poor so I only gave a 2 dollar tip, they changed my slip and gave themselves a 7 dollar tip and when I went to argue it and get it back they denied it even tho my bank clearly showed that they took it. 7 dollars is 7 dollars regarldess. Its on principal that they should have never taken that out of my account !!! Food was horrible today bathrooms were disgusting and then to top it off with that I will never return!!

I just had my first lunch here and absolutely loved it! The variety of food was amazing! Chinese chicken varieties, various seafood, pizza, corn, chicken nuggets, a wall of deserts and even sushi. I attempted to try a little of everything and loved every bite, especially the sushi. There is also a Hibachi chef which will prepare a meal right in front of you (next to the tip jar). The price was a little high for just a work lunch, but the food was well worth it. There really is something for everyone.

I thought the food sucked it WAS dry, cold, and looked like it was sitting there all day. The service was horrible. We told management and they still didnt take anything off our bill. Instead of talking English to us she turned around and spoke forgien language which Im sure she was talking about us which I FIND VERY RUDE.... I will never Ever eat here again... I highly do not recommend eating here.

Bad experence bad service just bad. Stood there and watched to see when we would be done and kept asking if we were done. Tried taking a plate that clearly had food on it. Then they are wasting all this food that they could box up or offer it to the homeless that need food and not waste so much. And put no new food out when there was still an hour and a half to close.

We used to pay with a debit card, until they started taking tips out without asking. We decided to pay cash, well next we went the guy at desk starts begging for us to leave a tip. We stopped going for awhile. Went back and same thing happens. If i think the service is good enough, Ill leave a tip. U dont have to keep bugging me. Pissed off!!!!!

Food quality poor.... didnt have key foods you would expect and even what they did have was low on food and empty pans on buffet. Poor taste and last few times Ive ate there, it makes me sick.

Food was OK, I dont like someone forcing or begging for tips. I feel that if the food and/or service is good Ill leave a tip, Im not going to reward you for poor food and service.

They have good food if you can manage to get in after a fresh batch is put out. Selection changes slightly daily. Service is good. Well-priced.

Its a pretty bad buffet. The food isnt that good at all most days. The sushi is pretty decent for a buffet though, so Ill give 2 stars.
