Went to East Wok lunch time, ordered lunch menu shrimps+broccoli and asked for takeout chicken noodle soup , triple delights dish. I was happy with last time order when I was in Syracuse area... but not this time. Firstly, the shrimps+ broccoli dish was quite salty, not what i expected for well review restaurant. Secondly, after 1/2 hr having lunch in the restaurant, I expected them to bring my takeout order to my table, but they did not. I waited at counter for 1 minute, but no one around for picking up my order. So went to coffee shop next door, and forgot all about my order. My trip was heading down Rochester area, after one hour over there I called restaurant and asked to credit back my money. I explained my situation and said I could not return to Syracuse because I am travelling West back to Canada. I asked if he could credit back at least 1/2 of money (of $15). He refused and hung up the phone. Sorry, this is my last time at East Wok, and just let people know how they treat customers.

Everytime I order from East Wok (Thompson Rd East side Syracuse) their food is good but the time for delivery is rediculas. I waited over an hour for my food one time and then they got to my house my food was not even hot. Heres the kicker.....I just tried to order from them, and a child answered the phone. When do we have children answering business phones taking orders? This is not the first time this child has answered the phone. I dont carry a lot of cash on me. Everytime the child answers the phone the card machine seems to be "down". Hmmm thats not very good customer service. I really doubt I will be ordering from this location again.

I wouldnt even give it a one star. Sesame chicken was pink in the middle. My friends too completely. Called to get a new order. Said take order. Got delivered. But called explained issue. Wont remake or deliver food here. Said I was a liar. Chicken is not suppose to be all the way pink. 7 pieces I cut into. Now want me to drive there. Show them. Wait for a new order to be made or refund. I have two kids 3 years 6 months. Why got delivered. I cannot go there. Will be filling a claim. Called non emergency sheriffs office. I cannot believe the way they talk to me.

We ordered fried wonton, chicken fried rise, beef with Chinese vegetables and noodles. It tasted like it was weeks old, like they used the same oil that they use for all the foods they fried, oil tasted like fish, meats and like my old sweet socks. We could not even finish a mouthful of anything. It was Disgusting!! I can not believe they can serve something like that. Be careful!

Not awful, but not good either. They delivered within the timeframe they gave me but I was less than thrilled with the food. The wantons I ordered were soggy instead of crunchy, the fried dumplings were almost a little too fried and the lo mein was about what I would expect anywhere. Overall it was ok but I will most likely go somewhere else next time.

Ive been ordering from East Wok for years every few months or so...we LOVE their food! Anyone who rates them bad...it was either a fluke or youre just not a big fan of chinese food. East Wok rocks!! (boneless spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken, fried or steamed dumplings, crab rangoons, egg rolls...its all good)

I ordered pick up. I arrived a little later, my order was ready. I had the General Tsos combination platter. I got home and it was still hot. I bit into the chicken, it was crispy, yet coated in sauce; just the way I like it. The rice and Spring Roll included were also great. Id definitely go again.

I keep hoping the food will eventually be edible (thankfully it is work that pays for it, when we do get it) but it never happens. You would expect the General Tsos to have a darker sauce, and the chicken not to be crunchy, but you would be wrong from here.

Ordered from there the first time last week and the food was great. Had it delivered and it was prompt and food still hot. Ill be ordering from them a couple of times a month. Only complaint--most of the dinners come white rice. Id prefer fried rice.

Just ordered lunch, General Tso chicken was as hard as a rock (probably left overs from yesterday) Ended up throwing everything out. This is not the first time that it has happened, but it was the last time I will ever go to this place again.

I was ok with this place until they double charged me and when their website refreshed itself and placed my order on pickup the delivery boy points out to that YOU PICK PICK UP NOT DELIVERY. If I need food I will go somewhere else.

The lunch specials here are an amazing value for great food. Had the generals tofu which is super hard to find and I loved it. Would definitely come back whenever Im in the city.

Stayed over at Days Inn. Ordered sweet and sour chicken for delivery, they told me 30 - 45 minutes, it was delivered just under 30 minutes and was still hot.

The food was utterly gross ! Chicken wings did not taste like chicken ! Mystery meat. The rice was burnt. The crab Rangoon tasted old. Disappointed for sure!

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. The pork fried rice was yellow and un cooked. The lo mein was very greasy and burned. Would strongly not recommend.
