The owner of this shop is honestly such a sweet man. His son used to help him run the shop but he left to Albany to live with his wifes family so now he does it on his own. His English isnt great but as long as you can say #s, he can get by. He escaped Maos cultural revolution in the 60s by coming to America. I have lived in china for 3 years and can communicate with him well and honestly his food is better than the food Ive had in China. My fiancé is Chinese and he cant get enough of the food here. We visit every summer to see my folks and next summer the owner even agreed to let him do an internship and teach him how to cook. I ran the store with him for one day and he honestly treats his regular customers SO well even if he doesnt even make any money in the end. I watched him load up bag after bag with sauces, cookies, extra food. It was amazing. I told him hes not going to make any money that way but he has a kind heart and would rather be known for treating his customers well. All these negative comments on here are because they dont understand him or the situation hes in and need to learn to be a little patient. Really, the food here is WAY better than the food at Fraternity over in Hillcrest. Ive been around to a bunch showing my fiancé American Chinese food and he even agrees this place is the best. As soon as I walked in the place and saw what kind of shape this place was in, I should of just canceled my order and left. But..... I paid $25.71 for my large order of food. When I got home, after only eating a little of each food ordered everything tasted like garbage and was bagged back up and put in the garbage!! The deep fryer grease tasted like it had not been changed in weeks. Everything tasted like burnt grease, even the food that was not cooked in the fryer was terrible! Do yourself a favor and dont go there and unlike me right now my girlfriend and I are sick to our stomach!! I had to click on a star to get this to post, it does not even deserve 1 star.

the food was very disappointing it was the worse food I have ever had brought my food back the the guy yelled at me I will never go there again and I will be notifying the health department this is a disgrace I can not belive this happen to me today and on top of it I was on my lunch break the place smelled like he was burning things and it was only one old guy there. I never complain but this was uncalled for I have never felt so disrespect before in my life something needs to happen about this place.i would not give them a star but had to post this the worst place I have never eat at lost my food and my money

It hurts to bump what used to be my favorite Chinese place down to one star, but in the past year since the regular host left, everything has gone down hill. First, since the the host (the owners son? ) left, there is no one here who speaks passable English. Placing a phone order is an exercise in frustration. Second, even though you may order ahead, he will not start on your order until you arrive. Plan on at least ten to fifteen extra minutes before you get your food. Heres hoping the old host comes back soon!!!

I agree with all the negative reviews. I went here to place an order and they dont except anything but cash. What business in 2017 can survive as cash only especially a food establishment? Maybe Im wrong but it might be time for them to reconsider this policy. The man working at the counter wanted me to walk to the other end of the plaza to go use the ATM. NO thanks. At least get an ATM in the business if your policy is going to stay cash.

Disgusting! Had to throw out all the food! Its possibly the worst Chinese food Ive had. It had a chemical taste. The General Tsos chicken was mushy around the outside, old dry chicken on the inside. The flavor wasnt any better. Will never eat there again. I wouldnt even give this place one star.

I love there food, its the only chinese food restaurant I eat from in Binghamton. They just recently added a whole bunch of new items to their menu which are amazing, I suggest the Wonton in Peanut Sauce, you get a bunch of wontons for only a couple of bucks. Who can resist that?

Buying lunch for 6 people, call 45 min ahead of time.....the guy there speaks 1% english. ....worried.....go to pick order up, he hasnt started it!!! WHAT is the point of calling an order in???
