1-27-2012 I wont go back ever! There seems to be no way to leave Negative Stars....and you have to leave at least 1star to publish. Bamboo used to be the place to go, not anymore. The Hostess was visibly upset at something and ranting around in her native tongue. Very awkward. After a short wait we were seated, the background noise was off the charts, I had to yell to my wife and daughter. After 5 minutes of not being greeted or asked if we even wanted water the Hostess walked by the table, turned around and muttered in passing do you want a drink. We said yes, she said she needed to grab a pencil. 2 minutes later she wasnt back. We got up and left. I will not be giving Bamboo my business again. As a life long resident of Westford, who rather support in town vendors I think its a shame.

Went to Bamboo for a Sunday Lunch buffet today. It was towards the end of lunch, but still at least 45 minutes before it ended. Most of the containers were almost empty and very little was being refilled. Any appetizer we tried was cold, not even warm. You have to worry about contamination when food isnt kept up to temperature. Westford Board of Health pay attention here. There were no boneless spare ribs, 2 chicken wings, no fried rice left. We asked a buffet attendant for some more of these items. Well, it took almost 20 more minutes before anything came out. Extremely disappointed. They have to be kidding for $13.99. I wont be back!

Weve been several times to their Westford restaurant and their food and menu are definitely a rung above other Asian restaurants nearby. The other night our server was very attentive and pleasant, which is not true of many on their staff. But the noise level is the reason we dont go more often. Its way too loud to linger over and after a meal--not that they encourage lingering anyway. Just to make it noisier, another server decided to vacuum around the table next to ours right in the middle of our meal. I cant ever remember being in a restaurant so rude that they use an electric vacuum (even if it was cordless) during their busiest hours.

A welcomed, and welcoming addition to mid-cape asian food. I would expect everyone will find their favorite chinese dish prepared very well with some cool not-so-americanized things like Boneless Shanghai Duck. Sushi was fresh and well received. Surprisingly lower priced than one might expect. As an Unagi lover, i expect ill be back for the eel alone! Great service Management cares. Expecting well be getting to-go as a special treat. And we wont hesitqte to bring out of towners here - ifnit doeanbt become too crowded. Something tells me a year from now it might be tougher to get a table.

NOT Good. They try to make Japanese and Chinese food, but fail to make either well. Overall Grade C. There are not many good Chinese restaurants in this area. You have to go to Waltham or Boston or Lowell for good quality Chinese food. I left reviews here before trying to warn not to expect much, but my "Grade C" reviews seem to disappear. I do NOT understand all the postings that say: "Greatest Chinese Food outside Chinatown", or "Best Ever". These are clearly posted by people who own the place or maybe have family working there.

Should be 2.5 stars. When originally opened in Westford and Bedford/Burlington, they were tremendous and worth the literal wait to get in and go through the line. Now, they go through the motions and the lack of customers is good proof. Average selection for buffet and food quality is average, while being over priced. Only one small shrimp dish available, lack luster sushi selection, average soups, etc. I wont go again.

Its been about four months since I went but I still remember the type of service I received. As soon as you enter the restaurant its such a sight to see. the customer service is outstanding and the food was awesome as well. the portions were very large so we ended up taking most of it home. Its a nice place to visit!

I ordered take out and they messed up my entire order then when I called them to talk about it they refused to fix their mistake. The man who I spoke with was extremely rude and was very difficult to understand over the phone. I used to like this place but after this ridiculous treatment they lost a customer.

Bamboo is a nice asian restaurant for semi-formal dining or for casual or family dining. They do various kinds of asian food. I like most of what I have had, though I will say their sushi is not my favourite...which is a shame because I love sushi... the other things I have had there are very good.

My wife and I went for lunch, and they had a buffet for $12.95. The buffet had a lot of food. My wife wanted Chinese food and I wanted sushi, the buffet offered both sushi and Chinese food. The food was really good. I didnt get to try the desserts because I ate too many sushi rolls

The sushi is okay, but it used to be amazing about a year ago. Ever since the awesome sushi chef left for Phoenix (I think), the quality of their sushi has really dropped. The service is always very good though, but sometimes a bit overpriced for the quality.

High quality Asian food. You pay a little more than average, but its worth it. Especially since with Asian food there are almost always leftovers. Grab a Mai Tai at the bar while you wait if youre doing take out. One of the best Mai Tais youll have...

Great chinese food. Inspired by traditional as well as innovative flavors. The Yeung-Yang beef is a great mix between mongolian and hunan beef: The perfect mix of sweet and spicy. As noted in previous reviews you have to try the Mai Tai.

Its a very upscale looking restaurant with amazingly inexpensive prices. I mean who gives you shrimp friend rice and two pieces of spicy tuna sushi for 15 dollars!! Their serving size is also pretty gorgeous.

Food is delicious and the setting extremely nice for a cozy dinner. Weve eaten in and gotten take out several times from this Bamboo location. They do a good job personalizing the order to what you want.

One of the best sushi bars in the Boston area as described by several people. Well prepared Chinese and Asian specialties of many types. Large but broken into comfortable spaces. A family favorite.

The lunch buffet is always of great quality, fresh and delicious. Great sushi and fresh fruit for dessert. Service is always good too. We tend to overeat here! We highly recommend it.

One of the best Chinese food places around the area. The sushi is pretty good as well. The spring rolls are nice and crunchy and not oil logs like a lot of other places around.

Worst Asian food Ive had in a long time. Had a Sweet and Sour chicken dish, the chicken tasted like cardboard, had very little sauce and plain rice, nothing else. Avoid.
