I am very partial to Lekker. My screenwriting partner and I meet there every week. I love the atmosphere (and have even seen one or two movies stars having lunch), love the cappuccinos, and really love the regular and almond croissants. The wait staff is fast, efficient, and friendly. The background music is neither too loud or intrusive. And the place is usually filled with hip youngsters and not-so-youngsters. My wife and I just had lunch there - and it was as close to perfection as possible. The Moroccan Lamb Burger was delicious - perfectly cooked and a bit on the tangy side, with a bun that was neither too large, too soft, or too hard and crumbly, and with just the right amount of sauce. It came with a fresh and beautiful green salad and roast potatoes that we took home. This has to be the best lamb burger in the area. She had the skillet of the day - eggs with plenty of mushrooms, garlic and cheese. Again, it was accompanied by a large salad. With lunch I had a cappuccino and we took two almond croissants home with us. Give Lekker a try. You may run into one of our local stars - Rachael Weiss or Daniel Craig. If not, youre at least sure to have a great meal!

The food is original and very good but service is plain bad. Plan for a long lunch if you go even if the place only has a few people. Takes a while for someone to bring a menu and dont let them leave when they finally bring it or else youll wait another 10 minutes to order. Once you order, the food is quick but drinks may slow you down at this point. The food is original for the area and the food has not let me down. Just not sure when I will have enough time set aside to go back.

Dont go: this place is terrible! $11 for an "Arugula Salad with Parmesan Cheese, Lemon, and Olive Oil". The prices are outrageous and the food was not great. I ordered the tacos-$12 for two small tacos and a "side salad"-a heap of lettuce with a barely noticeable amount of dressing. Bathroom ceiling was leaking, waitress was very peculiar and jarring, ikea decorations hanging from the ceiling all over. Just drive down the road into Rosendale-there are plenty of places to eat there.

Fantastic food with all sorts of options, from veggie avo toast to meat-and-eggs skillet. Great atmosphere with modern light wood tables and lots of natural light. Good, if not fancy, coffee and cheerful, casual service. Would highly recommend for breakfast or lunch if you find yourself in the area.

This is what I call great food for a decent price. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere great. I had a great experience and will come back soon! Yes, this is a great addition to the Stone Ridge restaurant scene. Considering trying out the catering side soon!

Average food & it is very expensive. Coffee and breakfast sandwich was $9.51 and the eggs remind me of an Egg Mcmuffin (they were rectangle shaped and looked to poured from a bag of eggs) Dunkin Donuts across the street is better (and it hurts me to ever say that).
