No doubt the best dining experiences of my life. I visited in 2010, 2011, and most recently this year. The entire restaurant is incredible. The first two times I went, I remember having chicken tenders, in a red, cone-shaped basket. They were very good. This year, I had a Rainforest Burger, and it was amazing. The food was great and I did not have a single problem with it at all. The wait staff was also very nice. The food came out quickly, perhaps too quickly. I was expecting longer waits, which would have been nicer to explore the restaurant, however I was still able to see a lot. The Atlantic City Rainforest Cafe is smaller than most typical mall locations, however it has a cool exterior and that makes up for it. If visiting, check the tower windows, there are chimpanzees and parrots in there. This location does not have the animal heads peeking out of the foliage, the rhino, zebra, hippopotamus, etc, however it is not much of an issue. The waterfall works well. In fact, I was sitting next to it the last time I went. The best seat, however, en the entire Cafe, is the one between the two elephants. I sat there in 2010 and enjoyed it very much. The gorilas work great as well, however the baby gorilla, which used to hang from a branch near the waterfall, has been removed. There are also no jaguars in this location, however that is probably due to the smaller size. The fish tanks were well-kept and the fish looked healthy and alive. The gift shop was very nice as well. I purchased some T-shirts and a rainforest hat. I am glad Rainforest Cafe was able to stay after the closure of the Trump, however I hope they are able to renew their lease or work out a deal in 2021. Conclusion: A trip to Atlantic City is not complete without a visit to Rainforest Cafe.

When I walked up to the podium there was an African American elderly woman ahead of me that asked the wait time and the two Caucasian females told her two hours. I walked up and asked and she told me the same thing. So i went back to my group and let them know what the status of us receiving a table was. One member from my group walked up behind a middle age Caucasian couple just 3 minutes after I told her and the girls at the podium told them right this way. So of course naturally we were furious that we just asked and the two hour wait was 3 minutes for them and not us. I watched the door and seen no one come out of the restaurant how can a table free up for them. So I asked them did a table free up because we just asked and you said there wasnt any. The girl said well there are none free and I said you just gave them a table and we was here first so she stared at her co-worker and said oh ok I guess we can get you a table too. We was angry for the little to nothing customer service the hostesses had given our group. As we walked to our seats we seen 6 tables scattered around empty. I was puzzled to why she told us there was no tables. Overall the atmosphere was great, the food delicious and im not really sure about coming back especially if there is a picking and choosing who gets to come in like a nightclub. Although my kids and nephews would love it, I dont know about dining in such an establishment like this.

At first it wasnt bad, until we received our appetizers. We had to request napkins and utensils. When they brought over 2 napkins for 6 of us. They placed the forks in a pile on the dirty table. Then we received our meals (I ordered steak, shrimp, and ribs). I asked for medium steak and it looked like it was dropped in a fire pit for 30 minutes. It was chewy and tuff with little flavor. The ribs had more fat on them than meat. The shrimp was pretty tasty though. we asked for more napkins 3 times until our server brought some. And forgot our drink refills twice. She asked how our food was and I said not good actually and she said oh Im so sorry about that and brought us our checks. Then to top it off she gave me two more dollars in change then she was supposed to. Being a good citizen I gave her the two dollars back on top of her tip so she wouldnt get it deducted from her check. I would not recommend eating there especially for how expensive they are!

We have been eating here every year for the past 10 years going to AC. And for the most part it was always just ok. Seemed a little dark and dirty/ dingey, food was blah, and really didnt want to go anymore. Went again yesterday and WOW!!! Could totally tell a transformation!!! Place was bright and shiny!!! Waiter James was amazing!!! Couldnt have been nicer and very accommodating. Food runners knew exactly where to place the food instead of calling out who had the....? Loved the new menu. Just enough choices and the food was great and fresh!!!!!! Beside the hostess waking us through the entire restaurant to our table, it was finally a pleasant eating experience!!!! Now, I will look forward to coming back next year. Whatever you did, keep it up!!!!! Great job to the management who trained their staff; well done!!!!

Well, honestly I dont know where to start. We loved going to the Rainforest Cafe in Atlantic City, especially for our younger children who absolutely love the experience. But, as adults we can understand the POOR service, the food is OVERPRICED - quality and quantity of food does not justify the cost. Management does not care about the Customers experience, they dont follow Company guidelines and protocols. If you should reach out to Corporate, just a glorified answering machine taking notes to in turn submit right back to the place of complaint, just for someone to toss a "complimentary dinner voucher". This location has fallen below the standards that I know this Company has. Many other locations are far better than this one. Sorry, but its my experience and opinion.

Very disappointed. Went with a group of 6 over the weekend. Everyone in our group ordered a beverage and an entree. We also ordered an appetizer for the table. The bill was about $150. Apparently, this wasnt good enough for our waiter. Our waiter was the pushiest salesman weve ever encountered in a restaurant. He attempted to sell us every drink, appetizer and entree on the menu. The most obnoxious part was when he tried to start selling us dessert just as we began to eat out entrees. When we declined, he pranced away with his nose up in the air. The food was mediocre, overpriced, and our appetizer of buffalo wings were served to us cold in the middle. Terrible.

I loved the inside, it would be a perfect place to take children to see the fake animals and forest decorations in the restaurant. I personally enjoyed the fake elephants, and the fish they had as well. The elephants moved every couple of minutes which was different compared to any restaurant i have ever been too. The food was very average and should not have been priced the way it was. You were paying high end prices for Ruby Tuesday quality food (no offense to Ruby Tuesday). If the restaurant was reasonably priced then it would have been okay, but because it was overpriced and the food wasnt amazing I cannot say it was a special or unique place.
