Its places like these that keep me from moving out of the city. Suburban dining personified. At least its not a chain. There is nothing wrong with this place - its just that theres nothing distinctive or unique about it outside of the building itself. The beers on tap are not for anyone that really enjoys beer. There are no local brews and nothing off the beaten path. I dont drink mass marketed beer. The menu, in my opinion, was unimaginative. They play it safe and give you the standard fare that youd expect in a suburban establishment. For what the food is, I think its way overpriced. The burgers were good but I couldnt bring myself to order the $22 steak sandwich. The pizza they served my kid was way undercooked. We paid over $60 before tip for two burgers, a kids pizza, soft drinks and dessert. This is a safe place to go if you want to have brunch with your in-laws or lunch with some clients. You certainly wont walk away upset however if you want a culinary adventure of any sort, this is not your place. Overall rating: BORING

Have been going here for years, since before their expansion. Still like the food but the service has gone down to levels lower than you will find at similarly priced restaurants. The wait staff seems to be a type - - hail and hearty young person, looking good but passing through and doing the job by their own agenda. Customers are generic to them. Tonights experience: my husband orders Sauvignon Blanc, I ordered Chardonnay. Waiter plunks them down on our table and says, "I dont know which is which and the bartender wouldnt talk to me." Proceed through the meal with him interrupting intense conversation with inanities. Then interrupts one more time to offer dessert when I had not finished my entree. We declined dessert. The check was on the table before I was finished eating my entree. Oh, and we were surrounded by empty tables. Hire some professional or want-the-job wait staff please, even if they dont look like they live in Rye.

Met a group of old friends for dinner here after a concert last week. Sitting on a bar stool at a long table wasnt the most comfortable seating arrangement, but the service was *very* attentive, the drinks were ordered and served in a timely way, and the food was just right (they know how to cook a medium rare burger perfectly) for pub fare. They really seem to care about customer experience, and our server checked back without being intrusive. Id return again, but would prefer regular dining tables and chairs next time.

It was nice with quick service. The food is great and they have a childrens menu so it is a good place for all ages. The inside is very nice and has a beautiful fireplace. It has great food and it is cooked to perfection and is great! The deserts are also amazing and have lots of flavor. I think lots of people would like this place. I rated it five stars because it has great food, good service, it is family friendly, good for lunch and dinner reservations, and is good for the holidays.

If you want great food, this should be on your list of options. A little overpriced in my opinion, but it IS Rye. I always get the scallop salad. Scallop is my favorite protein, and though I have salads only occasionally, this is THE BEST salad I have ever had! The scallops are cooked perfectly, and the balance between all of the ingredients is just perfect. I visit this place with friends quite often, and not a single person has had a complaint about their dish. Definitely worth a visit.

Met a colleague at the bar for a bite and drinks. Bartender was attentive but not invasive. Friendly and knowledgeable. Just perfect, in fact. Food was above average overall. For example, the cook toasted the cheese (gorganzola) on my burger, a step that I didnt ask for... and really shows an attention to detail and proper preparation that was consistent across the whole quality meal.

We only went because we won a $100 gift certificate ! Servicers are excellent and attentive. The food ..well the portions are hugh ! The salad was served fast and fresh . I had the clams and they were plump and juicy! I can not wait to go back and bring friends and family ! We found our new "go to " place. Thank You Rye Grill and Bar !!

Ive eaten here many times and the food and service was always excellent. So I decided to have my rehearsal dinner there. My guests and I could not say enough good things about the service and food. We had the private room upstairs which was great. So glad I chose Rye Grill & Bar for my rehearsal dinner.

Atrocious. Bad food, worse service. Alex, the bartender, mistook crispy rings (as denoted on menu) for crispy wings. When told of her mistakes, disappeared for 10 minutes. When she returned, stated we could get a shot, then charged us for the. I paid, but will never return. Low-budget bs.

More of a spot for someone that wants to feel like theyre elite by eating overpriced, yet very average food. I cant say Id recommend it. Its not the worst place Ive been so theyre not getting 1 star, but the quality doesnt match up with what youre selling it for.

Tasty swordfish sandwich and fries. Adequate Caesar salad. Excellent draft beer selection. Unenthusiastic server. Busy but not crazy on a warm Sunday night. Awkward street parking near Rye train station. Liked it but pricy for what it is.

Best bar and grill in westchester! This place has an amazing atmosphere, food is always wonderful! Its a cozy place that I recommend to everyone. Its kid friendly and they also have party rooms.

Consistent food and service. Been here many times after work due to the proximity to the train. Nice lively older professional crowd and the wait staff is always helpful and friendly.

The building is nice but underneath its basically an upscale bar. Ive eaten here twice and the food has been good. Its a little pricy for what it is, but not outrageous.
