If you have not been to The Big Cheese, do stop in. Not only do they have the greatest selection of imported cheeses, you can dine there or spend a little time in their thrift shop which they also have with an interesting variety of hard to find attire--fairly priced and often negotiable. Wonderful, kind, friendly people run this shop. Love the falafels and the paninis are mm mm delicious..! Right next door to the Rosendale Theater. And Yuval gives great advice. Ask him anything! lol! (Seriously--!)

Many expired products, bloated packages, and similar things. The staff always says it is similar to a cheese shop in Europe - but having lived in Europe, I would have to disagree. Mold is natural, as will be pointed out to you here - but is unappetizing, to put it nicely when seen on Port Salut and the like. Deals to be found - shop with caution.

A great comfy spot, especially on a Sunday fall morning. They are very dog friendly. If there is no water outside for dogs, they want you to let them know. They bring it right out. The food is delicious and great coffee. My fiance always has a blast looking at the thrift items in the back.

Theres nothing like ordering some excellent food and then shopping for vintage clothes in the back of the store while you wait. Its a great, casual meeting place in the center of town with WiFi, and many laptoppers appreciate the opportunity to leave their home offices for awhile.

A great little cheese shop. Doesnt really have much local product, but what it does have is obviously hand selected. I always feel like I ripped them off when I leave. Highly recommended.
