Although I gave gone to Broadway Lights and been somewhat satisfied and may have given them a better review, I am left with a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) when it comes to their delivery. I suggest they stop delivering and pay attention to their diner instead. I have ordered twice for delivery. First time the food was delivered cold and I had to put it in oven to redo it. A little annoying since they are located right up the street and the food doesnt taste as good reheated. Then Saturday, I decided to give them a second try. I called for a simple hamburger and fries. Was given by the person who answered the phone to the owner. The hamburger and fries was $9.95 which was overpriced to begin with but I had a death in the family, was not up to cooking so was willing to pay it. The owner informed me they had a $15.00 minimum for delivery and a delivery charge of $1.50. If you didnt want to deliver then why make excuses? You did not have those charges on the cold food you delivered me prior to this order. This order would have. brought that order way past $26.00 I will never pay that much for dinner here when there are so many wonderful restaurants in town that have way better food which I did. I ended up with a hot Italian meal delivered from Dibellas Restaurant (not some crappy diner) for $15.00. Needless to say, Broadway Lights will never see me for delivery nor will I ever go to the diner again. I will let everyone know in this large building how they attempted to rip me off without success.

Sad to report that after many many years of coming here, we had a bad experience tonight (4/29/17). It was primarily the service. My review isnt being submitted because of the experience with the server. Yes, it was bad service from start to finish but I can forgive a new server making mistakes even if it means I watch my spouse eat their entire meal before I finally get mine. My decision to provide a review is because the manager never acknowledged the problem and even chastised ME when I mentioned it to her at the register. When I managed restaurants and this happened, our policy was to always go to the table and apologize to the customer, offer some kind discount or a free dessert, encourage the server to make an extra effort, and check back on the table yourself towards the end of their meal. The goal was to see if you could still have the customer leave with a smile and not go home and write a bad review on Google.

Awful! My lox was salmon and instead of just changing my order, they had every employee insist that I was wrong and they were right. The owner came out and insisted it was lox and it had cooked from the egg and hollandaise sauce coming in contact with it. The food was left in front of me the entire time even though it was clear that I wasnt going to eat it. Of course when we got to the register it was on the bill and the owner refused to take it off. I asked him to call the police to resolve the situation, but he came to his senses and called his mommy. She told him to let it go. He then continued to harass my friend as she paid for her meal. Maybe it was decent when the parents were running he show, but now that the son has taken over its a joke. Avoid at all cost.

I go to Broadway Lights regularly and I am always satisfied with good food and generous portions. The dinner specials include an entree with soup or salad coffee and dessert - often I take half the entree home for lunch the next day. The eggs and omelettes and pancakes are all great for breakfast. The house salad is terrific - it comes in a good sized bowl and always has fresh greens - not just lettuce like other places.

Our friends were seated 15 minutes after us, but got their food within minutes. After waiting a good half hour or so, we finally received the explanation that our check was skipped, and other orders were fulfilled before ours. Our waitress was really nice, and it wasnt her fault, but it was frustrating. The restaurant did very kindly offer us a free dessert, and the food was extremely good.

Excellent homemade hash, great burgers (specially the bison burger), attentive personable wait staff who know the menu and make excellent suggestions. Strongly recommend eating here. Order off nenu and get the eggs Benedict with pastrami instead of Canadian bacon. Out of this world!!!

Dont go here after dark unless you are armed. Very bad neighborhood. Food is horrible and over priced. Service was terrible our waitress was too busy chatting with people at the counter. Steaks are disgusting tasted like they were old. Would NEVER eat here again

I called the place to order a sandwich and the lady on the phone told me no because someone ordered the same thing a little bit ago and it seems "suspicious". I always went to this diner but now, I will never spend another dollar in this place. Very mad.

Ive eaten here a few times and was quite pleased. The diner is clean, the staff is always friendly and I never feel rushed. Last time I was here I ate the Cobb Salad - excellent salad at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend.

I ordered French toast & scrambled eggs with cheese they put my eggs directly on top of my French toast so there was melted cheese everywhere -_- . & the French toast had no flavor just bland . Didnt even finish . Not Satisfying

I tried the blintzs, omelets, and coffee. Everything is done to perfection. If you are looking for my definition of the perfect breakfast, this would be the place. Plenty of parking, great service.

HUGE selection and portions at a reasonable price. I went there with my family for my birthday on a whim after googling it. The staff were friendly, the whole place clean, and the food was delicious!

Ordered fried chicken in Basket. Chicken was burnt and tasted horrible. The cooked must have stepped away from the fryer.....waitress was not pleasant.....dont know if I will go back there again.

I wouldnt suggest going here. Its really not that great. Prices are very high. Food is served on dirty plates . And the night time waitress is very rude. Not to mention the owner is very fake.

The cream of spinach was delicious and the chicken pot pie was actually made in house. I loved it. Btw the food I got was all suggested by the super helpful friendly waitress.
